In an interview with "Variety" in April, Kravitz revealed that he often hits the gym straight off the street, still dressed in leather pants or jeans.
Zoë Kravitz, his daughter, recently shared her thoughts on this during her appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Thursday, August 22, where she was promoting her new movie "Blink Twice". When host Jimmy Fallon brought up a viral TikTok video from April 9 showing her father lifting weights in leather pants and a mesh shirt, Zoë, 35, couldn’t help but laugh.
"This is— is this not— this isn’t how everyone’s dad works out?" Zoë quipped. "I was today years old when I learned that wasn’t how everyone’s dad works out. You know, he just— he does his thing, man. He’s pulling it off, I don’t know."

The video, which has garnered a staggering 45.5 million views on TikTok since Lenny posted it, even made its way into "Blink Twice". Zoë explained to Fallon that while editing the film, she and her editor decided to include the clip as a joke, but it was so amusing they decided to keep it in the final cut.
“There’s a part at the beginning of the movie where the lead character is scrolling through social media, and we needed some videos,” she shared. “My editor and I thought it’d be funny to use my dad’s video, so we left it in. It was just too good to pass up.”

Lenny, who shares Zoë with his ex-wife Lisa Bonet, also elaborated on his unconventional gym attire in his interview with "Variety". “I’m always working out in leather pants or jeans and boots and whatever— if I’m not doing cardio,” he explained. “If I’m doing cardio, obviously, I’m going to wear sweats because I’m going to be sweating all over the place. But if I’m lifting weights, I don’t sweat so much.”

He went on to clarify that his choice of workout gear isn’t about making a statement. “A lot of times I’m coming from somewhere or going somewhere. And I just don’t care. I didn’t wear leather pants to be different; it’s just me walking in off the street.”
