You Are Wanted
Devotional

Exactly as you are...
The creator of the universe, the God who made the patterns of your fingerprints, wants you. He doesn't have ulterior motives, He just loves you. Exactly how you are right in this vary moment, He loves you. Knowing everything you have ever done throughout the entire course of your life, He loves you in the midst of whatever stage of life you may find yourself in.
Unconditionally loved.
How does it make you feel thinking about an omnipotent, omnipresent, and perfect Creator who just delights in you? Why does he delight in you? He delights in your quirks because He designed them all. Conditional love includes people's imperfect "love" that presents itself from how we look, or act, or perform in life. If you're human, then you have been marred by the counterfeit damage of conditional love. Most of our internal soul damage comes from very imperfect love from relatives, friends, and people in general who are imperfect. Have you really dwelled on the Creator's infinite unconditional love for you that is unlike the love He possesses for any other person that He also created? Wow!
You are wanted.
God's kingdom is vast. What is the kingdom? The kingdom is all of God's children and all of the creatures that worship and serve Him. His children are the building blocks of His kingdom. Every day people around the globe are receiving salvation into their spirits. They are acknowledging the truth of the gospel. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 states, "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."
His desire is that all people come to know him deeply on a daily, intimate level. Will all people come to know Him in this way? No, unfortunately not. I have heard it said many times that God is the perfect gentleman. In other words, He doesn't force Himself on His creation. He gives us the freedom to trust Him or not. He wants you to know Him and see that He truly is good. Psalm 34:8 says, "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!" The echoes of His heart say that He has done everything possible for making a way and being the way for you to have fulfillment in life. He calls you by name and gladly wants you to be a part of his team, a part of His kingdom!
In grade school, maybe you remember being chosen or not chosen first for being on teams. It feels good to be chosen first because you know that you're wanted. It feels embarrassing if you're chosen last because you feel unwanted or like your skills are not of worth. God points right at you, knowing you better than any relative or best friend you may have, and says, "I want you!"
He wants to hear you speak your mind and heart.
Not only does God want you to be apart of His kingdom, but he wants to hear from you as often as possible. Everything you think, He knows before you think it, but wildly, and somewhat mysteriously, He still wants to hear you speak. Why? God is a God of connection and intimacy. He wants to hear what you are grateful for, what you're upset about, and what your hopes are for the future. Prayer doesn't have to be spoken in formal, fancy language. In fact, I wager that God would much rather a sincere heart with simple words, then insincerity with the sugar coating of flowery language.
Now, to bundle all these points together concisely...
You are unconditionally loved exactly as you are and you are wanted for something BIG that will last for eternity!

Great! Congratulations on Top Story!
Follow me For good
A great piece. A reminder that we are being loved continuously by none other than the one who created us...lovely.
Spring came into my life that day, When you came into my heart... That October last year, I fell in love with your personality. You said— "I am mixed with your blood..." So after knowing so much who did you leave me with? Do you want to know why spring doesn't come into my life anymore? Or ask yourself this question..

Lovely piece. It's always encouraging to be reminded of how special we are to God. I battle with that.

His Omniscience is hard to grasp sometimes ❤️ this is a lovely piece that you've written here, J 😊
This is a very good reminder and very bold and courageous to speak the truth. I kind of suspected you were a Christian. There was a gentleness about your writing and constant reaching for optimism even in the dark.
Such a heart-to-heart reminder that we are deeply known! Heartfelt and comforting words indeed. "And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein."— (Quran 50:16) His love and mercy aren’t distant; they are woven into the very fabric of our being. No matter where we are or what we face, He is always near, always listening, always holding us in His care.✨💝
