Women empowerment
I wrote this blog on women's empowerment to tell all women that they can do everything.

What is Women’s Empowerment?
Empowerment means having agency over one’s life and equal opportunity to participate in society. Women’s empowerment, or female empowerment, is the process by which women gain influence and equal opportunity to pursue personal, social, and economic endeavors, engaging in all parts of society on the same basis as men.
How To Empower Women?
Poverty greatly limits women’s empowerment. In general, the poorer a person is the less access they have to jobs, resources, political participation, and much more. Around the world, poverty disproportionately affects young women and girls. Helping them move out of poverty is an incredibly effective way to achieve female empowerment.
In addition, in many low-income countries, discriminatory laws and intertwined social practices limit a woman’s rights. She may not be able to own property, open a bank account, receive an education, start a business, and more. Encouraging society to reexamine these laws and norms also can empower women. There are a lot of examples of women in history but one of the most famous is the Late Queen Elizabeth. She rules over the UK for seven decades. The way she managed all things like unity in people and many more. In some countries where women can not get their rights in a proper way but through many campaigns they can get their rights.
According to me if families can support their daughters and sisters and give them independence then they can do everything. Women can face every challenge but they never give up. If we support women one day they rule over this world.
The strong quotes of women's empowerment ;
“A strong woman knows she has strength enough for the journey, but a woman of strength knows it is in the journey where she will become strong.”
Gender equality is the biggest problem in our society. Since its creation 70 years ago, the UN has achieved important results in advancing gender equality, from the establishment of the Commission on the Status of Women - the main global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women - through the adoption of various landmark agreements such as the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) and the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.
On the occasion of the General Debate of the 66th Session of the General Assembly held in September 2011, United Nations Secretary-General BAN KI-MOON highlighted in his Report “We the Peoples”, the crucial role of gender equality as a driver of development progress, recognizing that the potential of women had not been fully realized, owing to, inter alia, persistent social, economic and political inequalities.
Gender inequalities are still deep-rooted in every society. Women suffer from a lack of access to decent work and face occupational segregation and gender wage gaps. In many situations, they are denied access to basic education and health care and are victims of violence and discrimination. They are under-represented in political and economic decision-making processes.
With the aim of better addressing these challenges and identifying a single recognized driver to lead and coordinate UN activities on gender equality issues, UN Women was established in 2010.
UN Women works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls, the empowerment of women, and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action, and peace and security.
Endorse the Women's Empowerment Principles;
Principle 1: Establish high-level corporate leadership for gender equality
Principle 2: Treat all women and men fairly at work – respect and support human rights and nondiscrimination
Principle 3: Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all women and men workers
Principle 4: Promote education, training, and professional development for women
Principle 5: Implement enterprise development, supply chain, and marketing practices that empower women
Principle 6: Promote equality through community initiatives and advocacy
Principle 7: Measure and publicly report on progress to achieve gender equality
If we follow all these principles all women can achieve their dreams and goals.
