During his interview, producer Krizbeatz was asked about the situation of artistes owing producers money and if he has faced any such ordeal to which Krizbeats responded saying:

KRIZBEATZ: So, I feel like it has to do with like—I always say, one thing that God helped me with is to have people early, to understand, to help me kind of like structure everything. So yes, I don't get into the studio discussing payments with artists. I never. I don't want to know what this person is paying so my creativity is not affected by what this person is paying. "This person is not paying as much as this person, so let me focus more on this person" y'know. So I tell them, before you get a lawyer, get a manager. Get somebody that can manage and if you can get a manager that understands the law, fine for you. You can always hire a lawyer when you start getting some bread. But I don't think I've ever had that situation where I'm trying to say "oh, you haven't paid me for something." It's easy now that there's technology. If someone has not paid you, you can take the song down.

I did a song with, I don't know if I can talk about it, uh somebody and somebody. Akon and Kizz Daniel yeah, I did a song and we had a mutual agreement you know, like "oh let's do this and then we'll you know make it up to you guys." Of course, this is Akon so it's not Kizz's song. I think it was Akon's song. So, this is Akon. I'm like "okay, fine. Let's do it." Then, my people were trying to reach out to them, "do this, do that, do this, do that," it's simple, we don't go back and forth. You will not see me saying "I'm trying to reach Akon—" pff, just take the song down. If you no want am, leave it. If it's not that song, that song's beat, another person will use it. If they don't use it, we have a lot of things now for musicians, producers; there's a lot of things that you can make money from without an artist jumping on your beats.
