The latest Netflix hit that has been the talk of the nation for the last 72 hours is the Ini Edo co-produced hit thriller series, Shanty Town. The action packed, very adult show contains very graphic scenes of violence, sex, action, and more.

Seeing as this project is Ini Edo's baby that she has been working on for a very long time now along with other producers, now that the movie is out, Ini Edo is celebrating her work, the cast, and crew, and also giving us more insight into her role and what went into it. Speaking about Shanty Town, here is what Ini Edo has had to say about the production since its release.

Speaking about her action sequences and why she did her own fight on the show, Ini Edo said:

INI EDO: It took me 3 weeks of intensive training of mixed martial arts with Sensei Pierce who also played the role of Top Gun in the number one trending series on Netflix Shanty town , to get into the character of Inem. The physical challenge was one of the major reasons I jumped on that role…As an Actor, I had been craving for a character that would challenge me both physically and artistically , stepping away from my comfort zone made me feel alive artistically ! Am fulfilled by your reviews and humbled .
