Vintage Collage and Mixed Media on Canvass

I always love crafting, painting, sewing, and all aspects of arts. The cutting of little stuff and its creation outcome makes me feel so happy and even the little things I created by my hands makes me feel so successful. I created a handmade Vintage Collage and Mixed Media on Canvass. I just love seeing it's vintage style the brownish and the old-fashioned way of it's color and the mixed media I have used to give this vintage look. And so many stuffs out there that can be used to create this vintage looking. I used printed cardstocks, plain cardstocks, gel pens and some crafting materials that you can find that will give your art to its best.

Since, I love painting and drawing as well, I decided to used a mixed medium on this canvass as you can see. I have my drawing, paintings, print outs and especially the crafting which using my scissors to create a beautiful handmade vintage collage and mixed media on a canvass And yes it's really possible. I have my scissors that follows the handwork of my imagination, the glue that very useful to tacked things up and on. The pencil that beautifully patterned my drawing skills. Oh I just love it! My brush that gives a wonderful stroke in every way. And the color choosing, just be yourself! and for me, I was just being creative in everything I do on this vintage art. And follow your beautiful imagination as you tackle your project. A beautiful mind will have a beautiful creation. I always avoid a critic mind when I start doing a project since it will be a hindrance of my natural skills that I have instead, I just kept looking of the stuff I have and go through to my art boxes and selecting stuff that I love and follow of the mood I have in my mind. And of course, as I started my project it's really important for me what is my subject for that specific art. The main goal and theme will play a lot to your creation as an example before I started my subject is " I wanted to make a Vintage Collage and Mixed Media on Canvass."

I gathered all my crafting materials and started my drawing of a sewing machine. I just love the idea of a sewing machine as my center subject of the whole art since I love making bags and some fabric crafting. I used a colored pencils and the 2 different shades of the pink just perfectly matched with the shabby chick vintage sewing machine. And the flowers that I attached at the center of the sewing machine it gives the impression of a woman who loves beautiful things, so feminine, stylish and soft elegant.

My drawing vintage sewing machine, I pasted it onto the canvass and I just love it. And as you can see I painted a sewing machine table and a native basket with yarns since I am enjoying yarn projects as well. I did put a white big button on the sewing machine as it will give the look of an important spare part function of a sewing machine. And yes it's perfect it's just a sweet idea. I think the combination of painting and drawing on a canvass is a very nice and creative looking. I love the thoughts that I can combined and mixed my hobbies or skills into a one project and it's a very delightful feeling.

I used an old musical book pages and pasted on the edge of the canvass and started to play my imagination to express a vintage looking art.

As you can see the outcome of the vintage look. I used materials of what I have in my Art Boxes. I have an oil paint and paint binder which it did give the brownish look and expressed an old touched art.

I made a paper dress out of a printed card stock and pasted it to the canvass. And to make it looks glowing I did put a silver dazzle dust and it will help to stand out. I did put some pink beads as well and dried flowers to add up a glamorous look. I made a second paper dress and as you can see I made a pattern and cut into it's design.

I created a little wind chime and this part is very special for me. The shells that I did used are some of the shells that me, my husband and 2 girls collected from the few beaches we went. And this shells are from Palm Coast, Daytona Beach, and New Smyrna Beach Florida. And I love seeing this, to put it in my artwork. We're very close family we shared so many fun things together and do many things together. I can't just thank enough, to the one above for this feeling that is so amazing! that my husband supports me all the way of the skills, hobbies and interest I have. For me, the things that you want to do and will do will help your mind wellness. A healthy mind will give you a good perspective in life, as a person and a good functional human being.

I add up some art crafting to make it more looking glamorous like the great felt hat style or a women 70's anything felt hat. And it's nice to match it up with the dress. It gives the impression of a delicate, feminine and fine woman. And as I was creating this crafting arts it's just felt so delightful and entertaining when you can play your imagination freely by making things that you wish existed! And here I am! concretizing through my arts. The main purpose of playing your beautiful mind and imagination is to create a marvelous creation. The things that didn't exist yet you can do it with your two hands. A unique creation through crafting, sewing, painting, drawing, and some other form or medium of arts is a special gift of ones mind. The expression through arts is the impression of one's talent.

The product of my imagination is finally being realized. As you can see I did paste some quotes not only to beautify my artwork but to remind me as a woman and artist that possibility is always on the way. Your positive thoughts and creative mind can bring things into existence. The recognition of one's skills and talents is the giving birth of a beautiful and unique handwork. The art work you will create is the expression of your soul within you. And no one can tell you to do the things that is in you but it's your responsibility to discover of what you have and what you can do. The hidden gems and treasure that you can offer to your family, community and to the whole world is not asking for age requirement no matter what stage in your lifetime you will start, it's always things are possible to happen. I love creating unique things and I don't entertain hindrances, for hindrances is always at the corner waiting for you to stop. And a healthy and beautiful mind will walk by his positive feelings and encourage other ones through their amazing personal bravery. A successful artist is the one who can encourage other ones to create an astonishing artwork and newly born creation of handwork.
