In our current society, the subject of whether one should pursue a vegetarian or a vegan diet certainly comes up more than enough times in several discussions. In many cases, people get more heated up when it comes to what a healthy diet or lifestyle actually means, each individual making an argument from their own perspective.

What is really the truth behind the plant-based diet phenomenon that has become quite a trend nowadays? Or is it more than just a simple trendy lifestyle embraced by certain individuals that want to be merely different than the others?

According to one of the latest research studies conducted in South America, for example, early humans diets consisted of 80% plant-based foods, with a mere 20% meat consumption. Assistant Professor Randy Haas's analysis from the archaeological team of the University of Wyoming clearly proves that a plant-based diet made up most of the food consumed by the Andean society.

Another study conducted in historical amphitheaters in Europe also revealed that the ancient gladiators diet during the Roman Empire also consisted mostly of a plant-based diet. The same archeological analysis has proven similar results in Greece, revealing that the fierce warriors of Sparta also consumed mostly a plant-based diet, with a very negligible margin of meat.

Another groundbreaking research also revealed that our ancestors, the Australopithecus, who lived 3 million years ago, were entirely vegetarian.

The truth is, all throughout centuries of wars, plagues, and, in many cultures, a frequent nomadic lifestyle, human beings were eventually forced to adapt and embrace a new type of lifestyle, which consisted of a carnivore diet. Nomadic tribes were mostly changing their habitats due to climate changes or frequent wars. Eventually, they needed to adapt to a carnivore diet in order to complement their food and be able to sustain themselves in the long run. Various deadly plagues and famines in many populated areas have also contributed to the adaptation to a carnivore diet.

However, the entire genetic structure of human beings was not designed to be able to assimilate meat. The latest genetic studies have also made this clear, along with the fact that the entire set of human teeth was specifically engineered for plant-based consumption.

Now, from a healthy and spiritual point of view, it is important to mention the long-term effects that meat consumption has on the body.

In ancient times, amongst the scholars and in secretive spiritual circles like the Gnostics, for example, they knew about the spirituality and the fine frequency of the human body, which is not built to be compatible with meat consumption.

Various spiritual masters, yogis, and healers have embraced strictly a plant-based diet in order to be able to tune their body and mind to the finer energies of the universe.

Biologically speaking, a carnivore diet is the most acidic diet of all. That being said, meat has the potential to wreak serious havoc in the body, ultimately causing various diseases and weakening the natural protection of the immune system.

As for proteins, several studies have also confirmed that plant-based proteins are assimilated entirely by the human body, in contrast with meat-based proteins, which don't get assimilated entirely.

Meat consumption also is one of the major contributors to the overweight problem of our century, leading to countless health issues in both children and adults alike.

The thing is, the human body was not designed to be able to withstand so many external factors that make up our environment of this age. Not without side effects. Various chemical pollutions, the soil, air, and water being poisoned, and our food chemically treated or genetically modified in various ways. In the long term, all these factors, combined with a carnivore-based diet, have a major potential to cause several health issues during the course of a lifetime.

All of these, including the consumption of tobacco and alcohol and a sedentary lifestyle, are the perfect recipe for a health disaster.

Therefore, adding meat to the diet doesn't really help in the long term, considering that our entire environmental factors are contributing to a highly acidic lifestyle.

Thus, a plant-based diet, which is mostly alkaline in nature, is recommended in order to properly protect and maintain the immune system with the help of antioxidants and alkalizing nutrients found in plant-based foods.

A plant-based diet helps to eliminate various toxins accumulated in the body due to external elements and binds heavy metals and other noxious chemicals so that the body can detoxify due to a plant-based diet's alkaline properties.

From a spiritual perspective, a carnivore-based body cannot be tuned to the finer frequencies of the universe, meaning there's no spiritual evolution as long as the body is attached to a meat-based diet. Fruits, seeds, and vegetables have a proper spiritual frequency that is fully compatible with the human body, which is the temple of the divine. Plant-based foods are able to raise the energetic vibration of a person, cleansing and strengthening the human's body energy field, the aura.

Plant-based foods have their own energy field, which is entirely compatible with human bioenergy. They work together in union in order to cleanse the body of impurities or heal various health problems.

A simple thought for pondering. Animals that are tortured and slaughtered in the most violent of ways are later on consumed by individuals that, through the dismembered body parts of the animals, embrace the sufferings of the very animals that were slaughtered for the sole purpose of consumption.

However, choosing a plant-based diet is not merely because of moral reasons but simply common sense. A plant-based diet has all the multiple health reasons any individual needs, be those reasons either spiritual or biological in nature.

In the long term, any individual embracing a plant-based diet gains better health, more energy, and a more youthful look. The body heals and regenerates faster, and the immune system gets stronger and more capable of fighting off various bacteria causing infections and diseases.

Spiritually, an individual choosing a plant-based diet will systematically raise the energy frequency of the aura, cleansing impurities from the body and the mind, including the more rugged, violent thought pattern energies, which are introduced in the energy field by meat consumption.

The most important aspect of a plant-based diet is that it raises the consciousness of a person considerably, resulting in a more peaceful and loving nature, possessing more inner wisdom that leads to the respect and better understanding of our environment and fellow human beings.

A plant-based diet helps us reconnect to Mother Nature and the divine energies of the creator. It helps us reconnect to each other.

Regardless of the reason for pursuing strictly a plant-based diet, the advantages of consuming plant-based foods are far superior compared to a carnivore diet.

In the long term, your body will thank you, your mind will thank you, and your heart will love you.

As the body transmutes itself into a higher version through a plant-based diet, people will learn to reconnect to each other and embrace the natural divine energies of our very origins.

A plant-based diet is not only mandatory to create a better world; it is our heritage.
