Once upon a time there was a rich jeweller, He had four wifes. The merchant loved his fourth wife more than anyone else because she was very beautiful. He used to adorn himself with precious ornaments made by himself. A giver of very valuable clothes. If he had to travel anywhere, he would take his fourth wife with him and proudly show it off to everyone, which made her proud that she was very beautiful.

His third wife was the most beautiful after the fourth wife. Later he also loved the third wife. She was also beautiful. He used to buy her everything she wanted. She likes to enjoy eating different kinds of food. The jeweler used to bring her various fruits grown in different regions.

Although both wives were not beautiful, the second wife was good. Very clever too. The merchant used to go to his second wife for advice whenever there were any irregularities in the business. Any other business he started he would entrust to his second wife. With that I am smart enough for her that my husband is at a good level because of me. I used to be proud that I could earn anything with my intelligence.

And the first wife is not that beautiful but she is second to her in understanding others with good heart and humility. There was no one who surpassed her in quality but when the merchant married someone else he stopped caring about his first wife. Not one who gives good clothes, not even one who gives food. No one would take him anywhere. She longed for the merchant's love. But, the merchant ignored her. Whenever he was seen, he was angry that he could not be seen.

A few years later, the merchant developed an incurable disease. Doctors came from somewhere and looked but could not say anything. Finally a doctor told the merchant that he would not live more than a month.

Since then, no wife has seen the merchant properly. They stopped going to the merchant for fear of where they would get the disease. One day the merchant cried to himself thinking that all my life I have loved my wives very much but now who will come near me.

One day he called his fourth wife and asked if you know how much I love and adore you, will you stay with me till I die, to which she refused saying that I am so beautiful I cannot stay with you. The merchant got hurt and said that I should go and marry someone else and be comfortable.

Then he called his third wife and said, "I can't be with you." I haven't had my favorite food since you got sick. She said I should go to my native place now.

Then he called the second wife and said, "I am so smart, what can I do with you?" I will start another business with the money I have and earn money. But, she said she will come and see you as long as you live. The merchant was still depressed by that. These words hurt him more than the illness.

One of them came into her room and said, can I come before you? she asked. With that he asked who the merchant was and she said I am your first wife. At least the merchant could not remember the first wife. She is wearing very thin and tattered clothes. The merchant called to come. She cried and said, Give me the fortune to serve you even now, I will be with you even in death, and the merchant opened his eyes. He was sad that he had been ignored for so long.

Ethics | Moral : Even in our life we do not know who and what to value. In this story, the fourth wife of the merchant is like our body, we love it a lot and decorate it well but in the end it is not accompanied by our mind. The third wife is like our meal which is never limited. The wisdom of the second wife will not be useful in our end time. The mind, faith, freedom, thought and joy of the first wife were companions in the last moments. So remember not to belittle anyone. Whose value is theirs.
