Toyin Abraham and Aunty Exchange Words Online Because of Her Decision to Make Choice Public

Toyin Abraham has been suffering a lot of backlash since she publicly came out to state her choice for president as Bola Tinubu. Since then, she has been called all manner of names, but recently, when an aunty to her, Adetutu Balogun, responded to a post she made on Twitter, Toyin had to respond back and very quickly, the whole thing turned into an exchange of words. Here is everything that went down.

It all started when Toyin Abraham posted on her social media:

In response, Aunty Adetutu Balogun responded to Toyin saying:

ADETUTU BALOGUN: Omo “asiwaju baby”. Just like “asiwaju baby”, Sanwo baby has presented his plan & strategy to you? 🤣 Kontinue we are watching.

Upon seeing her post, Toyin Abraham responded to Aunty Adetun saying:

TOYIN ABRAHAM: Aunty tutu sekosi 🙄🙄

In response, Aunty Adetutu responded:

ADETUTU BALOGUN: Is that a question or an answer? 🙄🙄🙄🙄

To which Toyin Abraham responded:

TOYIN ABRAHAM: E mu kan🙄🙄 wahala yin po🙄

Aunty Adetutu responded:

ADETUTU BALOGUN: You too mention one… l didn’t see ? in your tweet. “Wahala” that is not wahala that 👇

To which Toyin Abraham responded:

Aunty Adetutu responded:

ADETUTU BALOGUN: Kil ke! Despicable act! We don’t engage in such.

Shebi you want to put mouth in politics as a political pundit let us continue with the debate.

To which Toyin Abraham responded:

TOYIN ABRAHAM: Ko kin se debate, gbogbo yin le so wipe we should be involved in politics, Omo Naija ni mi so Mo ni right lati make choice mi and since I’m not influencing my choice on anyone

Aunty tutu responded saying:

ADETUTU BALOGUN: We don’t need celebrities coming to SM during election season sewing PR threads for bad leaders. For 4 years, celes will ignore issues affecting a state e.g Debt issue, suddenly during elections they are the experts! if your choices will affect millions, we will call you out!

To which Toyin Abraham responded:

TOYIN ABRAHAM: Aunty tutu if truly Eti OBA ni le Eti OBA loko then you should know this is not pro, I am contented with the little I have but truthfully I let my choice known because the bully is much and no one can bully me that’s why I decided to let my choice known

Aunty Adetutu responded:

ADETUTU BALOGUN: If you are not a pro, leave it to the experts! Don’t use your voice & space to sell bad mandates! Some people in nollywood are supporting BAT, but they are not vocal about it. The masses are not asking for too much, they want a future for themselves and their children!

To which Toyin Abraham said:

TOYIN ABRAHAM: No aunty tutu it is my handle and I have right to post anything and yes alot are vocal but they are on ig. I only posted once and yes I have right to post my choice and like I said I am not campaigning n will never campaign for anyone but aunty tutu I can post on my page

Adetutu responded:

To which Toyin Abraham responded finally:

TOYIN ABRAHAM: You have right now but I won’t tell you what to post on your page aunty, you can only advise but not decide for me what to do ma.I’m wise enough not to influence anyone with my choice but posting on my page Haa aunty tutu I can post anything on my page maam
