This is not the End.

This is a story that changed me life forever thanks to a amazing friend of mine. Her name is Christani short for Chris, if you ever got the chance to meet Chris you would see how amazing she is but i will have to say that i'm really lucky to be able to call her my best friend! Over the years of our friendship we have only became closer and I would like to share how she saved my life.

Chris an I became good friends on a crazy night. I was running late getting back home from a friends get together so Chris took me home. Once we pulled into the driveway there was my mother standing at the front door with her hand on her hip waiting for me, when I got inside the house that's when she went a little to crazy an stared putting her hands on me. I ran out of the house than started running down the street streaming for Chris. Luckily she had stopped for gas at the end of the street so she saw me pulled over and picked me up, seeing I was upset she wanted to do everything in her power to take it away so she helped me calm down asked me if I wanted to stayed the night until things calmed down. Once we got to her house we didn't talked about what happen she just tried to keep my mind busy and stress free, so we watched Monster INC and gave each other foot rubs. That's really where our friendship started off but got closer over the next few years.

Years later, after being placed in fosters homes hours away from my hometown I had lost all contact with friends an family. Leaving me by myself with no one to turn to so my friendship with Chris slipped away not knowing if we were gonna get our friendship back. I went on to living my life where I permanently stayed in Owensboro got married. Living what I thought was the best life until it all came to an end with divorce. Forced to move back home with mother where I went through drug addiction, sexual abuse and self harm when I say I went down hill, I mean I went down hill. Still thinking I had no one to turn to, I was lost and didn't know what to do. Until the person that I thought would never be in my life again sent me a message on Facebook. She wanted to check in on an see how I was doing telling me that she's always here for me if I ever need her. An that's when our friendship took back off again.

After years of no contact with any of my friends and family Chris got in-touch with me and our friendship began again. Chris knew that I was going through a really rough time dealing with my thoughts an feeling. She was always there to listen an help me with different ways to get through the feeling I was having. Chris oh my gosh Chris always knew when to message me not for sure how she knew but she did she would message me on my worst days. The one time that Chris texted me was when I was about to take my life she was right there to try to talk me through it, even though it was really stressful to have to deal with your best friend taking a whole bottle of pills and drinking a bottle of liqueur she tough through it and help me get through one of the worst days in my life.I made it through it an I couldn't be more grateful for her!

Friends are the best things to have in life because no mater if your texting or hanging out all the time when it come to the time that you need help, advice or just someone to vent to you always have that friend to turn too,Chris has been that friend plus I think she just sticks around for my dog lol.
