What is a Generational Curse?

The Unrevealed Knowledge - Generational Curse
What is your understanding of ¨Generational Curse¨?
The answer can vary depending on each individual's religious practice or traditions. One might say my great grandmother was cursed by a witch, as a result our entire generation line becomes subject to certain misfortunes such as poverty, sickness and premature deaths, just to name a few.
According to The Gospel Coalition, a “generational curse describes the cumulative effect on a person of things that their ancestors did, believed, or practiced in the past, and a consequence of an ancestor's actions, beliefs, and sins being passed down.”
What does the bible say about generational curses?
Before going into that, first understand this.We are uniquely different from the next individual. As a matter of fact, this has been proven by science through the discovery of DNA, and studies done by doctors and scientists.
On religious concepts the spirit and soul is explained to be our personal connection to God, a means in which we identify ourselves or how he recognized us. In defiance of science and religion it is legitimate to say we are uniquely and individually established from a personalized blueprint.
We exist in the wombs of our mothers alone except in certain cases like twins, and triplets. Regardless of those situations, each newborn exiting the womb is a task done individually as well as our departure from this world. We are all buried alone.
Every man will be judged according to their deeds, therefore I will not be punished for the inequalities or sins of my four fathers.
You might be asking yourself, does that mean generational curses are not real?
They are absolutely real, however we have been misinformed of the history behind it.
If we’re only accountable for our deed, what might be the root source of the misfortune and unfavorable events that label us as the victim. Unfortunately what we believe or refer to as generational curse are in fact, karmic ties.
What are karmic ties/debts or karmic lessons?
For clarification purposes karmic lessons are not the same as karmic debts. Karmic lessons focus on our weakest point that we are responsible for addressing in this current incarnation.
Hans Decoz's explanation of karmic lessons is as the letters and corresponding numbers of your name point to talents and abilities that you possess. These characteristics can be compared to a workshop in which certain tools are available to you. Missing numbers, those that are not represented in the letters of your name, imply tools that are unavailable and must be acquired and mastered during this lifetime.
The definition of karmic lessons are missing numbers in our birth names. This reflects that we are limited from certain knowledge or life skills. Overall an obligation is placed in us to learn and act upon these missing numbers to fulfill a life free of failure and wasted opportunities.
Now let us understand the meaning of karmic debts: these are lifepaths that acquire wisdom and achievements we have accumulated as well as the mistakes and missed use of power. To summarize, karma is the destiny we earn as a result of our past actions not just in this life but our past life or previous incarnation.
In this scenario Chika Emmanuella Ojo who was named after her great grandmother also named Chika Emmanuella Ojo. After a close look into a series of life events and behavioral patterns both Chika and her grandmother shared a lot of similarities such as the same karmic debt number, 14.
Person with a karmic debt number 14 might experience instability, lack of commitment and limited success in life. Excessive effort must be applied to experience success in certain aspects of life. While in this scenario Mary Williams will attain a favorable result on the same task, with little to no effort or difficulties in doing so.
Unlike Chika Emmanuella Ojo who must apply double the energy, effort and time to achieve a successful outcome. Even though Mary Williams did not inherit her name from past ancestors, it doesn't exclude her from having a karmic debt.
Hypothetically speaking based on the calculations of Mary Williams full name at birth her karmic debt number was 19. Hans Decoz's explanation of those with the karmic debt number 19 as “One of the central lessons for people with the 19 Karmic Debt revolves around stubbornly resisting help from others. Much of your independence is self-imposed - you simply want to do it your own way. The 19 Karmic Debt can become a self-imposed prison if you don’t recognize the need for interdependence and the mutual need for love.” As a result Mary Williams might experience lack of social support or social skills. She might be labeled as an narcissistic individual. As an outcome too this traits she might face difficult excelling in fields that involved group or teamwork
How does one explain why most of the first born boy children in Johnson’s generational line have a history of hardship and poverty most of their adult life?
That would be because all the firstborn males are passeddown the names of their father and their fathers' fathers and so on. You are not just inheriting the name but also all negative positive good and bad experiences associated with all the ancestors before you. In this scenario Micheal Johnson Junior was named after his father, as well as his father’s father and so forth. It was a traditional and an honorable act of respect not just to the ancestors but also to the son who inherited the name. Unaware that when we inherit a name we also inherit the universal energy associated with that name, such as a karmic debt as well as a series of accomplishments, failures, success, limitations and other consequences. As the names are passed down from generation to generation so are the karmic debts, karmic lessons, behavior patterns and more intensely the current carrier of that name is now, facing the consequences and judgment for those before him.
In addition Micheal Johnson becomes accountable for the bad or good deeds of his four fathers. In a situation like this, life reflects a never ending roller coaster ride. Accommodated by periods of prominent luck or favor followed by periods of unprecedented failure and misfortune. Due to limited knowledge Micheal Johnson passed on the family name to his first son as a gesture of respect following the footsteps and traditions of the four fathers contributes to what is refer to as “Generational Curse”
Generational curses indeed exist; however it is not to be seen as non-negotiable or irretrievable punishments of actions our ancestors earned, and has been passed down to us. It's simply a sequence of repetitive patterns, limited beliefs , energy recognizable to the universal forces that have been attached to how we identify ourselves. Which causes a malfunction, shadowing the original cosmic blueprint with data stored by the universe from those before us that bears the same names.
I’m quite aware that the average human will not resonate to this unconventional belief nonetheless the idea of past life or the possibilities of obtaining any memories passed over to our present life. I guess you could say this supports the ridiculousness behind the “New Age” beliefs. How can we correct our wrongs especially when we have limited knowledge of which we must make right. Almost an impossible task to fully understand not to speak of accomplishing.
