"The Ultimate Fan Journey: Unbreakable Bonds “

Fan Follower’s Love for a Writer

A real experience

I am a writer, this is my real experience,

"Went to the prize function of a one-act competition. Principal Vinayak Vaidya, ex-mayor Baba Patne ... in the company of such bigots, Uttam Jain became close to them.

Next day Uttam came to me with a young man. Introduced etc. That young man had come from somewhere in the interior, overcoming difficulties, to the village to meet 'Suhas'!

Chatted with him a lot. It was noticed that this young man has some incurable disease and he has no hope of survival! He was not at all keen to talk about the 'illness'. I didn't go deep either. I could sense it through his depression. So I reassured him.

Instead of turning your back on life, be oriented towards life... I would have said a lot. The satisfaction on his face at that time, than my words, disturbs me now!

On my way back to Pune, Uttam urged me – suhas, write him a letter. You are his favorite author. He will feel very good.'

In the mess, there was exchange with husbands. So when I came to Pune I wrote a letter to Uttam and put his letter in the same envelope. Later, my travels ... writing ... tours.

Uttam's occasional letters. Mention of one - 'Your letter brought him up. It says to live... and so on. Why didn't his letter come at that time... Probably not!

Gradually, the context became distorted. The letters of him also slowed down.

And suddenly, sometime in between, a great letter arrived.

So... do you remember my 'that' friend? You even wrote a letter to him!

Gone! He had cancer, and that's when you met

Cancer? And I was telling this child to be life-oriented and so on! Then what was the satisfaction on his face at that time?

In Uttam's letter, the answer to this question is next!

suhas you met, on that date his diary records :

"Met suhas today. Dream come true to meet favorite author. He extended his hand for friendship. But my life is too long to accept him! How long can I maintain this friendship? Am I that lucky?"

There was no need to remember his name... no need to remember his form for that record of his to enter the heart.

Oh, a young man with cancer considered us such a close friend and we had no idea? Shouldn't this young man be in your list?

What about as a writer? I was ashamed of myself as a man!

Uttam's letter did not end here. To be immortalized anonymously on the memorial board, I wanted to accept another blow of the hand with compassion...shattered!

Uttam's last entry in reference to 'that' was –

suhas. .... It came to know from the phone that 'he' had gone. I reached there in half an hour. Look, your friend and I were lying on the bed quietly as if asleep. And ... trust me, Su.Shi. - He held the book on his chest even after death with both hands! It was yours!'

Fans' love for a writer can be an extraordinary and profound expression of admiration and appreciation. When readers connect deeply with an author's work, they often develop a sense of attachment and loyalty that transcends mere admiration for their literary prowess. This profound connection between writers and their fans can be attributed to several factors.

I don't wonder what I gave him in a meeting. It is true that 'he' came and sat among the few acquaintances who gave me the infinite sorrow of losing my best friend after his death!
