The NEGATIVE,

The in-between,

The truth,

The lie.

What is positively the meaning of positive?

The following is from the DICTIONARY as the meaning as stated by the folks who published dictionaries. Information was obtained from online due to my dictionary is online now not in a book on a shelf.

The story prose was written entirely by VICKI LAWANA TRUSSELLI. AI did not write this. I only typed in the meaning as it was interpreted by the online dictionary which used to be on my shelf years ago. I wrote the song as well. The music in the song was electronically created by SUNO. I am publishing my content of my own personal belief system of thoughts about life, and it is what it is or is?

“The word “positive” can have several meanings depending on the context:

1. Adjective:

o Constructive or Optimistic: Having a hopeful and confident attitude. For example, “She has a positive outlook on life.”

o Certain: Being sure or without any doubt. For example, “I am positive that I turned off the stove.”

o Greater than Zero: In mathematics, a number that is more than zero. For example, “Two is a positive number.”

o Electric Charge: Having an electric charge opposite to that carried by electrons. For example, “The positive terminal of a battery.”

2. Noun:

o Good Quality: A beneficial or constructive attribute. For example, “One of the positives of the job is the flexible hours.”

o Test Result: An indication that a test has detected the presence of something, such as a disease. For example, “The test came back positive for covid.”

So, this is the dictionary meaning for positive. Every day I hear someone relate to positive as though the situations in life are always positive and filled with balloons and party hats. I have always been a positive person to the extinction I analyze everything. Upon analyzing everything I have concluded that positive can be overrated at times, say for instance; someone walks into a room with a girl crying. The positive person tells her, “Oh honey, you will have fun. Jump up out of that chair and let us laugh. If you would be more positive you would not be crying.” The girl looks up at the old lady, “Well you see my grandma died yesterday and my dad would not let me see her because she was a humanitarian.” The old lady brushes her hand across the teenager’s hand, “oh well, another day, another one bites the dust.’” The girl stands up looks at the old lady, “Did you think about asking me why I was crying, or you were too busy trying to be Pollyanna happy Barbie doll?’

At times I feel like a little teenager that is full of life, hormones, feelings, and expressions of youth.

Are we so inclined in 2024 to be so callous that we have forgotten humans are born with feeling?

So, we post, we write, we negotiate, we debate.

Is it not too late to teach the true meaning of positive?

Is it not to be a clown or embrace a Pollyanna attitude but to be honest, truthful, and live in reality?

Life has not always been easy,

One is not always lazy,

If they are not busy every minute of the day.

So, look at the situation like this,

I had a positive Covid test results back last week, and I have covid. In a few days I will have my negative Covid test back and I will not have covid

I walked around the room screaming I love you to everyone. They all looked at me as though I was crazy. I told them as they hauled me away. “DON’T WORRY BE HAPPY!”

SO, YOU SEE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE HAVE DUPILCATE MEANINGS.

I HAVE TYPED IN ALL CAPS. YOU TELL ME TO QUIT THAT. YOU ARE MAD. I SAID NO EXCITED. THAT ALSO HAS A DUPLICATE MEANING.

I leave you all with the above rant about positive, negative, and reality to another day.

Conclusion of this rant is to say I made the scenarios up in my head to be prolific about the duplicate and double meanings of the words positive and negative.

With bursts of creativity and musings on illness, this entry tells a tale of the difference between positive vibes and negative notions. It’s a splendid read because it brims with ideas. I will share. S. S.
