The History of Twin Flames
Where did they originate from?

Twin Flames in today's media
We’ve started hearing about Twin Flames more and more since around 2014. Prior to this, they were mostly only ever mentioned amongst spiritual groups, and even then it was rarely touched on. It was understood they were part of the Soul Family and they were discussed as such.
Google results from 2000 show very little in the way of search results for Twin Flames, with nearly every one of them being linked to a Spiritual web site or Psychic. But the closer we get to today, the more the results rack up across other platforms such as social media.
Now suddenly, they seem to be everywhere. There are songs written about them by some mainstream artists, there are magazine articles talking about them, and they’ve become a popular subject for debate amongst teens all defending their toxic relationships as being the Twin Flame journey. The idea of Twin Flames has become glamorous amongst the younger generations.
So where did they originate from? What's the origin story prior to all the media hype?
There are many stories linked to the creation of Twin Flames.
The most popular one which comes up time & again is the Symposium by the Greek Philosopher Plato.
In the Symposium, Plato presents the theory as Aristophanes. He explains the original humans had four arms, four legs, a single head with two faces, and two sets of genitalia.
These were the very original humans. They are what we now call Twin Flames. There are supposedly 72,000 Twin Flames.
It said in the Symposium that these humans had great power. They became a threat to the gods, who considered eradicating them.
But, the gods then realized doing so would then lose them their biggest energy source. The humans provided labor and energy that is vital to the survival of the gods in the Higher Dimensions.
To solve the problem, Zeus decided to split the original humans in two. This also doubled them in number, so continued giving power to the gods.
The humans became slaves. But the trauma of their separation augmented to the point where they couldn’t go on any longer. They starved themselves and started to die.
The gods watched their source of labor and energy start to dry up & realized this was causing a big problem. They needed a solution.
The gods needed to ensure humans would not become so powerful they could overpower them. But they also needed to strike a balance so that the humans wouldn’t become depressed & die.
Apollo started sewing them back together. The belly button would be the only remaining sign of their original form. Each would then have one set of genitalia and would forever desire to reunite with their other half.
Twin Flame Lightworker connection
Of those 72,000 Twin Flames, once they were separated they became 144,000 individual bodies.
Interestingly there is a prediction that can be found both in the book of revelations and the emerald tablets, which forecasts that there will be an incarnation of 144,000 lightworkers who will save earth from the “forces of darkness” during the end times of the kali yoga.
The Bible talks about 144,000 souls that were sent here some 8 million years ago to remain over many lifetimes performing a divine mission.
Lightworkers are people who heal on many levels. They heal mentally, physically, emotionally, and even spiritually. They do this through their work and their energy if they learn to control and manage it.
So, the numbers marry up. Does this mean that Twin Flame is another name for the original 72,000 humans that were created by the gods before being split into 144,000 bodies and therefore the prophesied lightworkers?
