The Eternally Damned

The Year is 4024

My Name is Don Roy, and this is my story. A long time ago a man stood for something huge. He stood for discipline, and truth. He was a man of peaceful means. A focused yet wise individual. So, when war broke out, he was always the calmest in the situation. This man’s name was Leeper Sovern. A universal monk lost in the depths of his own decisions. He made a choice many years ago which resulted in him losing his reality amid his enemies. I know how it all happened because I was there when it happened. His intentions were for a cause way better then that of any other living creature. He sacrificed his very natural existence. To stop a source of purely relentless evil. From destroying everything, and everyone around him. Now he is stuck in an unknown real. In a parallel dimension far from this reality forever. All do to his one humble sacrifice. They say one must cut off a finger to save a hand. I do not believe that. Which is why I have invented technology far overreaching the times. In order to travel beyond our reality. In between lost dimensions. In order to find my friend, and mentor, to bring him home. I have pledged my life’s work to this cause and will not rest until he is brought home.

20 years after the choice was made.

I have completed it now I must take the journey I have built it for. I said right before climbing into the transporter device. I had no Idea where I would be taken. I had no Idea where he would be located. But I have put all my worries behind me. As I know he will reach out to me through clairvoyancy when he senses that I am close by.

So, on that day I boarded my vehicle of Interdimensional travel and set out into the vast abyss of parallel universal travel. The kick was electrifying as I drifted from parallel universe to parallel universe. For more then what seemed like hours. until suddenly, I heard his voice. He said I am waiting my student. I am not far. Then like a black hole opening I was sucked into a strange dimension, and I was finding myself crashing into what looked like a cold, and dark cave. With no evidence of any type of outside existence. It was surrounded by a dark, and cold nothingness. As I looked for a sign of anything at all. I turned to find my master meditating. He opened his eyes for a moment his eyes were different though they looked as if blue lights had taken them over. I walked cautiously towards him only to hear him say this to me. I know you have no idea what has happened. Do not fear. I will explain all. This abyss we stand in has no beginning or end. There is no such thing as materialism. Here this is the emptiness that our universe was forged from millions of years ago. Then I asked how do we get back to our world? He looked at me and laughed calmly. We do not. we are trapped here forever. I shook my head and mentioned that the trip here felt like hours. He laughed and said no it has been more like centuries. You see time does not exist here so what seemed like hours to you has been centuries in the reality of things. How is that possible if that is so How am I still alive? Then he turned around, and smiled with a grim smile, and out of nowhere jumped out at me fast.

3:00am in 1992

That is when I woke up my alarm going off ringing like it would never end. Funny how ideas get in your mind after watching to much sci fi on tv is not it. Well, I need to get ready for work. Then he turned around, smiled with a wise smirk. His eyes lit up like blue lights, and he spoke as if he were throwing an Idea out of sorts. He said or is it. While laughing in a chaotic manner.
