Narrating what happened to him after eating peppered meat in his uncle's house, Kunle Remi said:
KUNLE REMI: I was cooking yesterday and realized that I was chopping pepper. I now had a flashback to something that happened to me like 2 years ago. Brief story, I went to my uncle's house. I was in Abuja like 2 years ago, and I was like "uncle, are you around?" He said he was around and so I reached my uncle's house. I relaxed and then he told me do I want anything to eat? He said he had this nice peppered meat and asked me "do you eat pepper?" I said "uncle look at me, look me eyeball to eyeball, I am pepper. I eat pepper, I sleep pepper, I sniff pepper." He laughed and called his house maid to serve me the pepper meat. I ate the pepper meat and it made mad sense. I chop am finish, lick my hands, lick everything. I no even feel pepperish, I said na the pepper be this? Mschewww.
So next thing I told my uncle I want to pee. He showed me the guest toilet and I went there. As I reached there, I zipped down, brought out my tontolo and I peed. I finished peeing and I packed my tontolo back, washed my hands, and went back to the living room.
Baba me, few seconds later, I started breathing in and out. I don't know when breeze started blowing me. Something was peppering me. Baba, my tontolo don catch fire. Baba, my tontolo catch fire. E come dey burn me. My uncle said "are you alright?" because of how I was breathing and I said I'm fine. Baba, I was not fine. I was on fire.
As I was cooking yesterday, I said I have to remind people that when you cut pepper, wash your hand, make you no go grab your tontolo o! If you grab your tontolo with pepper hand, whew!
