"THE DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL"

"THE LIGHT SHINES THROUGH THE DARKNESS"

DISCLAIMER:

This story is fiction. Any resemblence to people or places or things are purely coincidental. This is created from the cobwebs of the author's subconscious and conscious mind. Fact or fiction is the storyline created to relate to one coming out of the depression of the dark night of the soul to the light of feeling hope after the storm.

Soleta had always wanted to be a hero, to fight for justice and protect the innocent, and fight for equality. She had trained hard, studied hard, and worked hard. She had become the Moon Princess, a person who roamed the streets of Eclipsis looking for ways to help people. Eclipsis was a city that had the light of the sun and the shadow of the moon. It was a city with advanced technology and a lofty tower that emitted beams of light that could be seen miles away. Soleta helped feed the homeless, volunteered for gun control, helped with women's rights and gay rights. She was a pillar of light fighting for equality.

Soleta had faced many enemies, many challenges, and many dangers. She had fought against the Joker politicians, the Penguin faux Christians, the Riddler of death and destruction, and many more dark forces of good and evil. Soleta had endured pain, loss, and betrayal. She had sacrificed happiness, love, and her life.

However, she had never faced an enemy like she faced then; an enemy who knew her better than anyone, an enemy of her own reflection. The enemy was out to steal her soul.

Soleta had been infected by a mysterious virus that corrupted her mind, her body, and her spirit. It was a virus that made her doubt everything she believed in, everything she fought for, and everything she lived for.

Soleta began to question her actions, motives, and morals. Some of her old friends had abandoned her spreading lies about her to rob her of her dignity. They turned her good nature, her love for equality and love for peace into a twisted lie of destruction. Her old friends spread lies about her to turn people against her. Soleta found out that her enemy was performing Voo doo rituals to destroy her as a human being.

She began to feel guilt, remorse, and despair. She began to feel hopeless, crying tears of heartbreak as so many old friends ignored her as if she had the plague. There were cracks in her soul and in her heart.

Soleta began to lose her will, her strenght, and her courage. She began to succumb to the darkness, the madness, and the emptiness.

She began to lose herself, her identity, and her soul.

Soleta had reached the lowest point of her life, the darkest night of her soul. She had no hope, no faith, and no reason; nothing to live for or die for.

Then one day Soleta met a musician online who made her feel like she was intelligent and helped her to create again. It seemed like the spell was broken. She began to write, to create once again. Soleta followed the light, keeping peace and love in her soul.

Soleta decided to learn about herself, to love herself, to release the control that the enemy had over her life. Praying to the universe for protection and to help her to continue her road to recovery from depression to creative endeavors of light works.

This is a story based on finding the light after being in the darkness of depression, the dark night of the soul.

"When haters try to dismantle freedom, cause chaos, lie, cheat, and steal from human beings who care about humanity, this causes darkness in the soul of a human or country. When war mongers are in control there is no light. When vengeful humans spread lies about another human who rejected them it only reflects the bitterness of that person or persons. Eventually the light prevails to shine upon the person crawling out from the dark night of the soul.

The light of the moon

Shines brighter than the dark.

The light of the sun shines brighter than the moon.

The light of the stars covers the universe,

Unfolding over the landscape as a blanket

To keep me warm, overshadowing

The darkness with light.

The light shines to bring love and hope soon,

Soon to love, I care, I share.

No longer care what my enemies think,

Or care about what they lie about.

I shout from the mountains

Overlooking the sea,

"I can be free; I can be hopeful!"

The universe is of light overcoming

The darkness of the night of the soul."
