A prisoner is told that he will be executed and the execution will be carried out by cutting a slit in his arm and letting him bleed out and die. The next day, the prisoner was taken to a room with a small hole in the wall. The executioner put one of his hands through the hole. On the other side of the wall, a knife was used to cut a slit in his hand, and a tile jar was placed under his hand to hold the blood.

"Drip drip drip ......" the prisoner listened to the sound of the liquid dripping, his eyes became dull, dazed, gradually weakened consciousness, and his mouth slurred something as it opened and closed. Soon, death welcomed him to the other world.

On the other side of the wall, the small gash in his hand had long since stopped bleeding, and on the table beside the executioner sat a large water bottle, the water which was dripping through a special funnel hose into a jar of water below.

The very foolish prisoner could not imagine that he was not bleeding to death, but was killed by a strong psychological suggestion. From the moment he walked into the execution room, he had no thoughts of survival, his mind was full of "death", he had no desire to live, and he was confused by the sound of dripping water one after another.

In recent years, student suicides have occurred frequently. The shocking cases of vein-cutting and jumping from buildings have touched everyone who knows. Why are they so brave to die, but not brave enough to go on and survive? Can death solve everything?

Study pressure, hard work, complicated relationship between men and women, family conflicts ...... these are all kinds of excuses to give up survival, but also tired of their fuse. But what put them to death is psychological self-suggestions, which is the real self-death. All day long thinking about being unhappy, sad to the bottom of things, in the psychological formation of a sticker difficult to tear off, so that they gradually disappear the desire to survive. Finally, the bias of consciousness leads to tragedy.

Those who want to live lightly are in a world of self-perceived melancholy, and before they are about to leave this good life, only eight words keep coming to their mind: What's the point of living?

A patient with a sad face asked Antiphon, "What is the meaning of living?" Antiphon said, "I still haven't figured it out, so I have to live."

We are living in this world precisely because we have desires. Want to know more about the customs and customs of this world, the natural scenery, wanting to know our way of survival, etc? We live to pursue what we want, to explore the crossroads of our lives, to know what we don't know yet, and to find activities that never satisfy our pleasure ...... Perhaps, this is what it means to live.

Someone asked the great philosopher Aristotle: "What distinguishes you from mediocre people?" Aristotle replied, "They live to eat, while I eat to live."

In today's society, many mediocre people are lazy: fake beggars who spend all day on the ground or on their knees asking passers-by for money; fake beggars who spend all day stuffing their heads in gambling, causing their families to be ruined; mediocre people who spend all day making "elaborate plans", premeditating robberies and getting something for nothing... ... These only enjoy the pleasures of the mouth, only to enjoy the material pleasures of the mediocre desire to survive is very strong, but for the sake of meaningless desire, what is the value of the survival of food, drink, and fun?

The wise people are different, they will know that what they want must be taken back with their hands, by using their brains to win back. They survive to enjoy the joy of wisdom, to enjoy the joy of the spirit, to try to enrich their lives, and to cherish every inch of time.

When a city was under siege, the inhabitants scattered with their most valuable possessions, and Bias was the only one with his bare hands. Why? He tells us, "Because everything I have is in my possession."

Each person has only one life, and will not be given one more because of setbacks; loss is loss and cannot be undone. There is nothing more precious than life. Life and death are only a line, only the moment of choice, just a frame of desire deflection.

"I am like a gentleman, no place is not suitable." As long as we have the desire to live, the tenacity to live, the goal to strive for, and the perseverance to persevere, we can solve any difficulty or brain-damaging problems we encounter in any place. Because tomorrow will be better!
