Simi Speaks on Rumored Beef Between Her and Davido

Over the years, there has been a long standing rumor held by some that Nigerian singer Simi doesn't like Davido. In fact, some people are convinced that Simi hates Davido. Different people have said all sorts of different things including saying things like "Simi can’t hide her hate for Davido, nobody will beat you if you own up publicly that you hate greatness", "She has no reason to like him na, He trolled her with zlantan , Nairamarley and co. Women don't move on like men", "She hates him so much" and more.

In fact, in 2021 there was an incident where Simi said "Starboy and Burna E definitely choke" to which somebody then responded saying "Simi ending that tweet with e choke doesn’t really make sense sha. E be like shade." to which Simi had to respond saying "Loool ffs I LOVE David and I LOVE Wiz. I was celebrating the winners and used the slang just as a SLANG. A friend said to remove it cos fans thought it was shade and so I did. It didn't even occur to me at allll. WHAT WOULD BE THE POINT OF ME SHADING EITHER OF THEM?? To what end?"

Well, the rumors didn't end there and now in a new video uploaded on her social media, Simi is talking one more time about this rumored beef that she has with singer Davido. Here's what Simi said.

Now, Simi is talking briefly again about this rumored beef with Davido in a bid to clear the rumor up in a new video she posted on her social media. She made the sentiment public while reading a lyric off her new album where she said I'm unavailable like Davido. Using that as a jumpoff point to talk about the alleged beef, Simi said:

SIMI: To be serious, I don't know who started this stupid rumor that I don't fuck with Davido because I do. He's the bomb. I've never ever ever had a problem with him. Let it go.
