Sensors and intuitives have some different qualities. It is sometimes seen that intuitives are favored over sensors. This is quite a common occurence though sensors have qualities that may be favored over introverts. One quality is that the sensor version of each type may a softer more endearing side or even a lighter side to their personality. The intuitives may come across as darker or more harsh in a way.
It is useful to explore the advantages that sensors have as the MBTI community can have quite a lot of bias towards intuitives. There are interesting individuals in both categories though it may be interesting to point out some of the advantages some sensing types will have.
ISTJ and INTJ - both are highly organized and methodical though ISTJ may have a more strongly organized and edge because their Si is in prominent first position. Both of these types are serious though ISTJ may be less likely to become messy or give in to indulgences. ISTJ is highly duty focused type whose focused on duty makes them very discplined people
ESFP and ENFP- both are playful and creative though ESFP may seem to find the fun a bit more. ESFP is a more physical type who may have an advantage in areas like sports or music. ESFP may seem lighter and more artistic while an ENFP may seem a bit more serious and more likely seen as a teacher in a school environment.
ISFJ and INFJ - ISFJs may work better as harmonizer than INFJs as their Ne (extroverted intuition) wants to create a sense of cohesive harmony. While INFJ might seem individual or even angry in comparison, ISFJs may have a strong peacemaking or harmonizing quality. ISFJs seek to be of service to others and their Si gives them a strong service focus.
ESFJ and ENFJ - ESFJ may have a stronger sense of duty and organisation and also be more of a harmonizing element in their personality. They also may have a stronger focus on service and may be among the most service oriented of the types.
ESTJ and ENTJ - ESTJ has a strong focus on getting things done and being practical. Si may be an advantage in this regard. They may have an edge in their organizational skills like ISTJ because of strongly developed Si, and have stronger sense of vigilance.
ESTP and ENTP - ESTP favors a pragmatic approach while ENTP may seem more theoretical. ESTP may be more active in the way they approach tasks in general. The pragmatism of ESTP may mean they are more active and able to accomplish more due to their practical focus.
ISTP and INTP - ISTP may be more social and expressive and work better on a team. ISTP may be more expressive and have an easier time working with people. ISTP may be known for a stronger sense of practicality and be able to withdraw from their shell more easily. ISTP may have a stronger sense of pragmastism.
ISFP and INFP - ISFP may seem more playful and to take things less seriously than INFP. INFP may seem more downbeat and serious. ISFP may work better as a painter or musician and express themselves more through their defiance of convention. ISFP like many Ni users have a strongly individualistic streak to their personalities and express themselves more individually.
Interesting individuals can been seen as either sensors or intuitives. There are a lot of interesting individuals who are sensors even though this may not be portrayed in the MBTI community. One can meet interesting individuals of all the types and it is beneficial to explore their strengths.
