Secrets of the little black book

True love always wins

By Poetic WomanPublished 5 years ago 3 min read

Lady Wilson stumbles upon a little black book while searching for the deed to her husband's Kent house in Florida. Upon opening the little black book an old photo falls out onto the floor. She turns the photo over to see if anything is written on the back of it. And what she discovers is that her husband isn't over his ex like she thought he was.

Furthermore, Kent arrives home from his studio session only to discover that his wife had cleared the house of everything and left a note on the door. Inside the note reads, since you're not over your ex-wife like you told me that you were I've moved back to Michigan so don't come looking for me. Don't expect to get in contact with me because I've changed my phone number and temporarily deleted my social media accounts. I told you when we first started talking that I wasn't quite ready to date again. But, as the days went by and you opened up more in regards of what you went through in your last marriage I decided that maybe I would give love one last chance.

You even promised me that you would never break my heart after I told you how my last relationship ended and how I went through depression. Even more so, in my mind I'm not concerned about our age differences. But, what does concerns Lady Wilson a little bit within her mind is what every other Tom, Harry and John might think of her.

Yet on the way back home to Michigan she decides to write nasty words in her notebook. She writes inside of her notebook, only if I didn't just have a huge crush on my husband I would've just did a one hitter quitter and went on about my business. Then she says to herself saying that maybe I should've just kept on with letting everyone else think that I had a made up boyfriend.

Furthermore, days goes by before she thinks to herself that it's time for me to move on and think about my own happiness before thinking about others. She wishes upon a star for a miracle to happen and prays on it at the same time. All while thinking to herself maybe if I would've had an imaginary friend growing up maybe I would know how to take certain things as a joke.

Two weeks later Lady Wilson opens a letter that she got in the mail from her estranged husband Kent. Inside the letter reads Good morning my dear wife the moment that I laid eyes on you from the start I knew that I just had to have you to myself one day. Our hearts were beating on one accord. It was just that we were like two gems passing through the night. Our hearts had belonged to someone else during the time of us meeting each other.

Honey I knew that if I had ever gotten a chance to tell you how I truly felt about you that first night I would have. That inside my thought of all thoughts we were already married before even saying hello to each other. That I had hit the lottery of love and with you all of my dreams were starting to all fall in place. And to know that if I were to ever lose sight of you my life wouldn't be the same. That in the beginning remember I had sworn an oath to you. And to this day I still live by that same oath sweetheart can we talk things over and begin to trust and have that strong bond like we had since day one. I can be reached by the same email address that you still hopefully hold near and dear to your heart.

Then out of nowhere, a day later Lady Wilson checks her mailbox and in it is a check for $20,000. But, in order for her to actually claim the money she and Kent must get back together as soon as possible and he must become her book manager. After all was said and done Lady Wilson realizes that she was just dreaming about the old photo in her dreams and that she had won the lottery days before with the ticket she had found inside of the little black book.
