SACRIFICE

The Greatest Mother In The World

My mother is the greatest mother in the WORLD! That is a saying that everyone who loves their mother says without fault. A mother, any mother, is the greatest mother in the world to that child who looks to her for guidance, protection, and love. A mother is so important to a child that God created that bond to start as a zygote. The bond created from making life, giving life, and then nourishing a child's life is priceless. . Your eyes, smile, laugh, and all the things you don't notice until you see your daughter or son. Guidance because you want your child to have the best of everything and grow with love and happiness... Protection because this is your world created in a form with you stamped on their every characteristic, and they become your everything. Love because you didn't realize that you could love someone so much that you will sacrifice everything so they can be happy. A mother who is willing to sacrifice her time, health, and money to provide a better life for their children is truly an angel without wings. So, as cliché as this sounds, My mother is the greatest mother in the world---to me!

The Most Significant Lessons My Mother Taught Me

Some things in life can be taught or learned from teaching. Yet, experiencing and watching can make an everlasting mark that buries into your soul. The most significant lesson my mother taught me simply by observing her throughout the year is, sacrifice. I didn't understand in my youth, nor did I appreciate my mother's sacrifices. She sacrificed her health when she went to jobs that didn't appreciate her, and she would work for the bare minimum. She would come home tired and in pain, but she would still spend time with my brothers and me. I didn't realize at the time how tired she was after working all night and coming home joints aching but still would cook us breakfast. I didn't recognize through those experience I was being taught love and sacrifice through her pain and tiredness. As I recount my memories, I am awed about my mother's strength and how she raised three sons that value her dearly. I see that love and sacrifice my mother made soaked into my brothers because their children are their world. My mother loves reading, and I remember when I was young, she would read to us. As we sit there listening to her recount these stories in the book, our eyes were filled with wonder. Her voice would take on its own life as she would read the books. This passion and love she had for reading shaped me, and to this day, my mother and I still read books of fiction. We begin reading Dragonlance back in the early '80s. We recount the books as the memories become like anchors in my life when I am down to feel that connection and love.

My Mom Influence Shaped My Life

My mother's influence shaped my life in every aspect or form that I can even begin creating or thinking of. Through her love and sacrifice, it helps my appreciation of life grow to humble me daily. I don't take for granted time, sacrifice, and love from any relationship that I form or have simply because of my mother's influence. Anyone willing to take their time out of their busy life and share with me any of their time I know it's worth. Time is something you can't get back, and the value of someone's time is priceless. The fundamentals basis of living is love. My mother showed me that love not just through words but through action daily. Because of her love, I hold dear to my relationships. Through that appreciation of the connections, it humbles me daily because I know the meaning of living a life of gratitude through the little things. Life can be gone in a blink of an eye, and how you treat and value people will live forever. My mother love taught me that our actions here mean something, and each action we take can help shape someone's life. If it's a stranger, friend, or a family member, each action we take holds weight on someone. You can't put a price tag on sincerity and genuineness. Thank you, Aileen.

The Ways Are I Thankful For My Mother

I am thankful for my mother sacrificing her dreams. My mother wanted to travel and see the world. She wanted to go to college and be a writer or an accountant. Yet, she sacrificed those dreams to raise my brothers with love and me. She sacrificed her health by working physically demanding jobs and getting minimum wage to provide clothes and food for my brother and me. She sacrificed her time for herself to give to us to grow and learn to become better men by her examples and love. She sacrifices her life daily for us to have a better life and succeed in our dreams that we desire. Her youth was given to me. I lived my youth with hope and ambition because my mother sacrificed her youth to provide the best life she could possibly give us.

The Advice I Hold Dear And Carry With Me Today Because Of My Mother

My mother's advice comes through her action of sincerity. Everything she does is through sincerity of love. That sincerity is shown through little acts of affection. A simple laugh we share together about something we experienced or watched. The recounting of the past on how silly and selfish I could be at times. Yet despite all my flaws, she only sees my good qualities. However, she can point out my bad choices or qualities with love and wisdom to help me grow and not hold a grudge. Maybe I don't agree at times, but I always know what she tells me comes from her heart, and she only wants the best for me. I carry that with me, within my heart. Soaking in my spirit. Sincerity. Honesty. Love. I put weight on and appreciate these qualities because these are the qualities that branch from the roots of my mother's sacrifice.

I Want To Celebrate And Honor My Mom

Mom, I want to honor you because I watched you work through the pain of a life of sacrifice. I never knew that it would leave a distinctive mark not only upon my brain but my heart and soul. The reflection of love coming from your eyes is something I will never forget until the day I pass. That reflection of love feeds my soul and fuels my heart. I can only describe your eyes of love like Jesus Christ. I imagine Christ hanging on the cross, looking at his children in love, and asking God to forgive them because they don't know what they do. In his eyes, the look he had was one of not pain but one of a love that only a mother who loves their child would understand. No matter what that child has done, her eyes will always be filled with love. As Christ sacrificed his life on the cross for his children… Mother, you sacrificed your life, dreams, and time for me. I celebrate your love. I honor your sacrifice. I love you, Mom. Aileen Vivan Ferguson, THE GREATEST MOTHER IN THE WORLD!
