Redeem The American Dream

Based on Current Events

Hope For Our Country

The American Dream was something most of us would chase. I mean most of us grew up saying the pledge of allegiance every day in school as children. What happened to liberty and justice for all? What happened to the hope of being free, financially, physically, and spiritually? Because it seems like it's lost.

Of course, no one ever said, "Everything will be perfect". But there are some standards it seems we completely lost for ourselves, yet the world.

Everyone is turning on each other, and civilians destroying businesses. Making it tough to keep our communities resourceful and families together. Politicians seem as if the war in Ukraine is more important than the war in our own country. A war they keep overlooking or are afraid to label as a war. We are currently experiencing overbearing homeless rates, the very alarming mass shootings, inflation, baby formula shortages, covid, and now monkey pops. The list indefinitely goes on.

I reside in California, where the price of the property is very disturbing and force people to live in tents on the streets or under the freeways. I tend to feel for these people because there has been an increase in deaths on the streets due to this. Alot of people's tents tend to catch fire and some don't make it or they lose the little they have. I've lived on the streets myself before at one point because rent is just unaffordable. I mean, affordable housing units, are not even affordable here anymore. It seems impossible for anyone living in poverty to build.

I have been questioning how in our country, as Tupac Shakur stated, we have money for war, but can't feed the poor, yet provide a decent and secure education for our children in our country.

We have all witnessed by now, President Joe Biden, putting his two cents (By the way, I'm speaking BILLIONS!!!! of dollars) in someone else's war, but failing us as a people daily, so another country doesn't fail its fight. But what about ours? We just lost 21 people recently in a mass school shooting in Uvalde, TX, his response was to fulfill the request of the governor, which is to tear down the school and rebuild it on the same blood-slaughtered land?!

It's obvious now, I mean, very transparent, we have a war in our own country. We are no longer UNITED. I just don't see it anymore. Even with our peace officers, it seems nowadays they don't understand the meaning of their own title. Let's speak about Mental Evaluation, yes, every officer should have daily mental assessments before starting each shift, like where is the reform to perform?! Every time you turn around, honestly, we hear of another officer killing someone. The numbers are continuing to grow daily it seems, outrageously. What can we do to Redeem The American Dream?

The world is changing by the second, new leaders are being appointed, new places are being discovered and a lot of truths are being revealed. I'm sad to say the same about something we believed so deeply in, and that's The American Dream, its truths are indeed being revealed.

It seems as if, it's been depleted, like everyone losing hope. Everyone is standing for the wrong things it seems not considering the future. But how can we consider the future when it seems impossible to keep gas in your car from outrageous increases in gas prices, yet prices in products all over the world. Oh yeah, we not going to go into more details about this whole big inflation mess. Yet our country finds reasons not to help its civilians only the bare minimum way, which cause all this ruckus.

I'm not sure if our country went bankrupt from being corrupt and selfish to its own civilians are what?! However, something needs to change, for the better. I mean I'm from Oakland, CA and schools here are closing down left and right. We can't even provide a decent, sustainable, and secure school system for our children. So, what do we believe now in The American dream?

Redeem The American Dream! make America a place of love, freedom, and unity again, because we all are being put in some form of bondage it seems. Let there actually be liberty for all, justice for all. We all know, right is right and wrong is wrong, so don't take too long to Redeem The American Dream.
