Reactions as 2Baba Announces DIVORCE from Annie (Photos)

Long standing Nigerian couple 2Baba and Annie Macaulay are now separated and are in the process of filing a divorce according to a new bombshell statement released by 2Baba himself. The news comes as a HUGE surprise to all, and people are still in so much shock.

In recent times, Annie has personally been the victim of a lot of online bullying and genuine concern too from fans, as her behavior on social media and her time during the latest season of Young, Famous, and African has been the topic of conversation for days since its release. Now, this statement from 2Baba. Wow! Here is what 2Baba had to say in his statement, and what celebrity and fan reactions alike have been to the news.

Taking to social media, 2Baba posted a statement saying:

2BABA: Hello to my beautiful people of all FEDERATIONS.

Well this thing I have to say is short but also long. I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now. And currently filed divorce. I would grant a press release soon to say my story. Not because it is anyone's right to know about my personal life; but because I love my people and need them to know my innocence or offense. Stay blessed my people. I love you all.

Taking to the comments quickly, a number of people have been quick to react!

Actress Biodun Okeowo popularly known as Omoborty was quick to react saying "WHY? You let them win! Oh no, this breaks my heart! God!". Another actress Mo Bimpe also littered 2Baba's comment section with heart broken emojis.

And then the fans too are very upset. One fan wrote saying "This is sad and heartbreaking, after all the shame and disappointment you brought to her life! You make her feel less of herself. I pray God see her through" while another said "I hope Annie is okay wherever she is" amidst more comments.
