As a multidisciplinary artist, I create sculptures that vary in style from the realistic figurative to the abstract and my personal process of creating is engaging, inspiring and educational. I have created life-sized and larger sculptures of people for institutions, private commissions and personal artwork. With over 40 years of experience in creating sculptures, I enjoy working from the fine details of a sculpture to engineering the larger scale monuments while truly preserving and eliciting the character and the life of the people that are honored.
I love creating, it is the action of making something out of nothing. The purest idea fall is the idea itself, thereafter the artist strives to bring that idea to life, but that is hardly ever the case; then come your artistic intuition to create with conviction to accomplish the artwork. The artwork created is a manifestation of our values, moralities, and convictions. I am proud of my monuments, especially the monument in honor of Prime Minister Rabin as I found him to be one of the most amazing leaders of our time. I am proud of my bronze sculptures, my paintings and an artwork series called Nightwatch. Many of my art pieces have been featured in movies, tv series and magazines, I believe the process of creating is most rewarding but it is always nice to be recognized.
The Nightwatch" series consist of sculptures and paintings relating directly to "human conductivity" in terms of social processes, in which the umbilical cord is the principal element, along with boundaries and vulnerabilities it sets in motion. I often assemble human-like images together in various group formations to achieve a changing social process where the observer in walking among the pieces becomes part of "The Nightwatch" series.
In existence, two elements are equally shared, the constructive one and the destructive one. Time and relativity are the decisive factors. We live in a society of such diverse and complex social composition where questions about equality, mobility, freedom, and isolation are not easily answered.
My work consists of human-like figures that do not indicate a certain gender but rather the human form in general. Personally, I do not differentiate between race or lifestyle. My sculptures are made from the same mold, reflecting on our common origin. I believe that without identifying certain ways or personal preferences, we actually address a much larger community and speak to the human race rather than gender, nationality, ethnicity, etc. Each one of my sculptures carries an object to indicate that we are all equal. The different objects carried by the sculptures reflect the different identities, values, and beliefs that we pick up along the way, they are not part of who we truly are but rather thought processes that we have adopted, either consciously or subconsciously.

Fantasy Series: Represents a more joyful time of creating and reflects a happy era in society.

Forest: A human like figure is being carried by his community in a time of need.
Marking Your Life: Represents our process of living and growing, our accomplishments and also our struggles.

Nightwatch series The Beginning: Represents the the artists naiveté of creating like there is no tomorrow.
My sculptures are made form the same mold, reflecting on our common origin. I believe that without identifying certain ways or personal preference, we address a much larger community and speak to the human race rather than gender, nationality, ethnicity etc. It is possible that my stusies in sociology and international relations is being reflected in my work, as my work represents a community dynamic of individuals and groups. As we transform from day to day and from generation to generation, new and exciting forms and art work is being created.
