Nathaniel Bassey Responds to People Bashing Hallelujah Challenge (VIDEO)
Nathaniel Bassey speaks out

Popular Nigerian pastor Nathaniel Bassey is getting on social media to respond to some of the criticisms that his very popular Hallelujah Challenge has been getting. Earlier today even, there was a story going around of a man bashing the Hallelujah Challenge, and this is not abnormal. In fact, there are several tweets and posts almost within every hour that lambast the Hallelujah Challenge for one reason or another, and now, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey is responding to all of that and giving a message to followers of the Hallelujah Challenge. Here's what Nathaniel Bassey had to say.

Taking to social media to give an update on the Hallelujah Challenge and respond to some of the negative words spoken about it, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey spoke saying:
NATHANIEL BASSEY: Hello, people! Your brother here, Nathaniel Bassey. I trust you've had a great service already, or you're about to have a service, depending on your time zone.
This is about the Hallelujah Challenge. As announced yesterday, we won’t be having Day Seven today. Instead, Day Seven will be tomorrow. Let me say that again—there is no Hallelujah Challenge tonight, the 16th. We’re taking a break, and the team is refreshing.
Also, because I’m in church today, counseling and praying with people, we thought it necessary to take a day off and continue tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be very special—it’s the seventh day, and by now, I’m sure you know that seven is a powerful prophetic number. It has been recurring in the Challenge since we began, and it’s going to be a night of glory. Day Seven is tomorrow, so please invite your friends, tell your family, and get prepared.
Let me also say this—don’t get involved in all the distractions, arguments, and time-wasting debates about the Hallelujah Challenge. Let those who don’t believe stay away. If you believe, connect.
Remember, I said on the first day: The devil distracts to deceive, and he deceives to destroy. It’s okay for people to criticize us, to call us false, to say we are a scam, that this is not of God, or that it’s of the devil. But you know whom you’ve believed in, so don’t get involved in all that.
The reason I’m saying this is that people keep tagging me in these conversations, and honestly, I don’t want to know about it. I don’t want to hear about it. We’ve been here for eight years since 2017. I’m used to the dragging, the criticism, the false accusations—but we’re still here.
So set your face as a flint and make sure you don’t lose out on what God is doing.
God bless you. See you tomorrow at 11:59 PM Nigerian time. Bye-bye!
