Love can be complicated

I don’t know why but when I was a kid I used to love the Love is comic strip. I loved the illustration and it gave such good advice lol.

Love is having a good friend to talk to Love is hugging that special someone. Love is trusting someone with your secrets! Love is listening to music together.

You ever realize how much you enjoy the simple things in life, like holding hands or eating dinner and watching your favorite tv shows with your favorite person. Listening to your favorite songs with your friends and and slow dancing. Do you remember the school dances; when you wished you get a chance to dance with your crush. The butterflies in your stomach, how your heart smiled with joy when you realized they felt the same way for you.

What about when that special someone notices you and your eyes connect. It’s like no one else exist in the room.

What about when life gives you an exciting opportunity, it’s that one person you want to tell; share your news with because you know they will be happy with you and proud of you. Have you ever just wanted that one specific person to call? Nobody else will do, the heart wants what it wants. No matter what your mind tries to convince your heart to feel, the two aren’t on the same page in the book of love.

Those moments when something goes wrong and you need that person to hug you and say everything will be just fine. Once they hug you it doesn’t even matter anymore, the worry you felt just settles down, and you remember that this storm to shall pass.

That is what love is to me. I’ve heard so many people say love is a action not just a feeling. It’s what you do to show someone you love them. I remember falling for my husband because he was saying goodbye to me after a date and he zipped my jacket. This small gesture made me feel adored and safe. I’m sure he didn’t even realize what he was doing, it was unintentional, I believe men show you how they feel about you with the little things.

If a man is a millionaire and he spends a lot of money on a woman, it doesn’t really mean he loves her, it’s just what he does, he buys what he wants. But if he’s modest working class man and he gives a woman he loves his last that means he wants to love and provide for her. Men are simple creatures they say, they aren’t that complicated to figure out. When women wait around for years for a man to propose, but he never does. It is said that men already know if they plan to marry a woman, when he looks at her, does he see a wife A woman looks at a man and can see his potential to be a husband and so she waits hoping to have a family from the long term relationship. She doesn’t want to start all the way over again learning about a new person, so she waits. Then one day the couple ties the knot or they break up. Sometimes that same man gets married to a a woman he only knew for a short time after making the last partner wait for years.

The ex wonders how did that happen, did he not love me or was he just not ready at that time. She’ll never know but at least she can move forward to a better relationship, someone who is ready to love her and grow. We all deserve happiness in love.

I don’t think anyone is a guru on the love subject, we all are still learning and loving as we live life.
