Lockdown Take 2
As we enter a second lockdown, what is it we will lose as a family and how do we think it will impact us.

Well - the first lockdown was good for us. My new partner came to visit prior to lockdown and when the news was announced, we felt as both single parents we could share the pressure of lockdown together.
One prime example was shopping. I could go on my own while she stayed at home with both children, There was no need to expose them to anything we did not have to, where as single parents on our own, they had to go where we go,
I worked from home anyway, so had no worries on furlough or job loss. Our company were busier than ever. Living on the sea front gave us the best views and exercise options.
We also started a new weekly Saturday night show on the local radio station, going from strength to strength now.
We both have active social media and video platform accounts, including my five year old daughters dream to emulate Ryan and build her own business empire and make her millions to get her dream pet dog.
We were forced into a move by a landlord who wanted to sell the house, but we were lucky to find somewhere quickly and move in the middle of lockdown. However, with no help or support, it was not the easiest task - but we did it.
But our relationship worked. A ring soon appeared on her finger and we have pencilled in January 2nd for our wedding, a year after we met. She has moved in fully having left her hometown to resettle in Felixstowe.
We missed football where I am the photographer for the local club. We missed the live music and events we attended from the radio. But we made the most of what lockdown gave us to grow and build our new family.
On Halloween - Boris announces a new lockdown of one month. Many people are worried about what it will bring, and I really feel for them. Many more will lose their jobs this time round. Mental health is going to be scary and worrying across so many families and households.
Football will stop again for us - many friends we will miss till December.
Radio will continue and maybe we can get more celebrity interviews as they also get stuck at home.
My partner continues to look for work here, but also build her new business she has started.
We stay at home and avoid any contact with the virus the best we can.
Maybe now our wedding plans are to be delayed, but we are strong, we are happy and most of all we have a loving family around us to get through this again together.
