Journal Entry: Mon. June 6th 2022

Monday, June 6th 2022

I wake up at 4 AM and can't really go back to sleep. My alarm goes off at 5:00 AM. I get up to do the laundry.

I put two loads in the downstairs washer and one in the upstairs. Still free, thank God.

I journal and post on Vocal. I'm a bit behind, so I try to catch up.

I check on the clothes. The towels didn't spin dry, so I rewash them. I put my other clothes in the dryer.

I can't find Loki anywhere again, and it's just not like him. He's in none of his spots, so he must have some place new, but I can't figure it out.

I get the clothes from the dryer and put my clothes away.

Then I start listening to 'Kill 'Em All' by Metallica, and then 'Ride The Lightning.'

I get the towels and put them away, but then I realize that I haven't seen Loki in awhile. I look all over the apartment and try to entice him with treats, but he's nowhere to be found. I wake Shelby and we go all over the complex searching for him. We freak out that we'll never see him again. But I look under Shelby's car and there he is. Bad kitty. I rescue him and take him inside.

I brew a Bones Coffee Co. Mustachio Coffee in my Mustache Mug. I eat an Everything Bagel with chive cream cheese from Kite Hill and everything seasoning on top.

I finish my coffee.

Shelby and I use this foam cleaner stuff to scrub Loki. We dry him off, and I start listening to 'Ride The Lightning,' again.

Now my shoulder really hurts as well as my legs and back that were hurting all morning. I take an extra strength Tylenol.

Then I journal.

I take a nap.

When I wake up I discovered that Shelby did the dishes for me. So nice of her.

I make a sandwich: toasted English Muffins; lathered veganaise; peppered baby spinach; plopped, juicy tomato slice; plooped oven-roasted Tofurkey slices; smacked Vegan Follow-Your-Heart Gouda Cheese; and blasted hot sauce- a fuckton. I feast. But I don't stop there: I have a banana, a mandarin orange, and raw almonds.

While I feast I watch Brie Larson's YouTube videos.

I do the dishes while listening to Metallica's, 'Master of Puppets.'

Then I shower with Bourbon, 2-n-1, Head and Shoulders, Shampoo/Conditioner. Then I lather myself with Duke Cannon Buffalo Trace Bourbon Soap and rinse. I then smother myself with body wash: Duke Canon THICK Bourbon Bodywash. After rinsing I rinse my hair. Then I use my Duke Cannon Buffalo Trace Bourbon Plant-Based Beard Wash. I rinse. I dry and comb my red beard with its elegant white streaks.

I put on Axe Apollo Fresh Stick, because they were out of Phoenix.

I heat filtered, water to 170 Degrees Fahrenheit in my black, Fellow EKG Gooseneck Kettle and steep two teaspoons of Sencha Fancy Green Tea for four minutes in my Mike Wazowski mug. I purchased the tea at The Tea Table online. I highly recommend them.

I put in Big Bourbon Beard Balm and put on Bourbon Cologne Balm.

I lie down and listen to Simon & Garfunkel's, 'Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M.,' 'Sounds of Silence,' and, 'Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme,' albums.

I drink a smoothie and eat carrots and raw almonds, while I listen to Simon & Garfunkel's, 'Bookends.'

I brush my teeth and journal.

I check the mail. I don't have anything interesting. Then I refill my prescription on the CVS website.

I pop three iburprofen tablets.

I brew a freshly ground Crowded Barrel Coffee Co. EleaNOIR Barrel-Rested Coffee in my Z's Divine Espresso Mug.

I listen to Simon & Garfunkel's, 'Bridge Over Troubled Water,' album.

Then I pour a glencairn of Ardbeg 5 Wee Beastie Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

I order us Something Vegan. I get the orange 'chicken' with brown rice and gyoza. Shelby gets a wrap with fries.

We feast.

As we feast, we watch Sex Education.

We watch that for the rest of the night.

Then I shower with Bourbon, 2-n-1, Head and Shoulders, Shampoo/Conditioner. Then I lather myself with Duke Cannon Buffalo Trace Bourbon Soap and rinse. I lie in bed while Shelby watches some comedy specials. I listen to Metallica's, '...And Justice for All,' and then snippets of Bo Burnham's, 'Inside Deluxe.'

Then we go to bed.

And that's it.
