Jon Gosselin has experienced several benefits after shedding some pounds.

In a recent interview with The U.S. Sun on Wednesday, July 24, the former star of 'Jon & Kate Plus 8,' 47, shared how his life has improved since he started focusing on his health.

Gosselin's longtime girlfriend, Stephanie Lebo, joined the conversation. He mentioned that blood tests revealed his low testosterone levels and that non-invasive CellSound treatments after his weight loss helped tighten his skin.

He attributed these factors to the improved overall appearance of his body, adding, “It’s improved my sex life.”

“That’s the reward for looking good and being happy,” he continued.

The couple noted that low testosterone can affect more than just libido; it may also indicate potential heart issues.

Earlier in the interview, Gosselin disclosed he had lost “somewhere between 47 and 50 pounds,” noting his weight fluctuates weekly.

In February, the father of eight told Entertainment Tonight about the negative impact his transition from a TV star to a full-time DJ had on his eating habits and health.

"I just got complacent with my health," he admitted, revealing he had gained 35 lbs. "I’m in a comfortable relationship. I love my girlfriend, Stephanie. We just eat whatever we want, do whatever."

Gosselin explained that working late nights, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., four to five times a week, made it challenging to have well-prepped meals.

"In our rural area of Pennsylvania, options are limited. We eat at gas stations like Wawa. There are healthy choices, but at three in the morning, you're exhausted and still have an hour to drive. There's nowhere to stop," he said.

"I go without eating for 12 to 14 hours, then have dinner at three in the morning and drive to a gig," he continued.

By April, Gosselin provided another health update, revealing he had lost over 30 lbs. in two months after starting Ozempic.

Speaking to Page Six, he expressed regret for not starting the medication earlier.
