1, the broken arrow

If you don't believe in your own will, you'll never be a general.

During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, a father and his son went to war. The father has become a general, the son is just a pawn. Another horn sounded, the drums thundered, and my father solemnly held up a quiver with an arrow in it. The father solemnly said to his son, "This is a treasure arrow from the family. Wear it with you. It has infinite power, but do not take it out." It was a very fine quiver, made of thick cowhide, with a faint gleaming copper border, and the end of the arrow sticking out. You can tell it's made of the finest peacock feathers. The son was beaming with joy and greedily thought about the shape of the arrow shaft and arrow. The sound of arrows whizzing past his ears seemed to prompt the enemy's commander to break his horse and die. Sure enough, the son with the treasure arrow was brave and invincible. When the horn sounded, the son could not help the heroic victory, completely turned his back on his father's advice, the strong desire to drive him to call out the treasure arrow, trying to see what was going on. Suddenly he was shocked. A broken arrow, a broken arrow in the quiver. I keep Hollowing out to break an arrow to fight! The son was scared out of a cold sweat, as if the house suddenly lost its pillar, suddenly the will collapsed.

The result speaks for itself. The son is killed in the chaos.

Whisking away the smoke of gunpowder, my father picked up the broken arrow and spat heavily: "If you don't believe in your own will, you will never be a general."

How foolish it is to place the victory or defeat on a treasure arrow, and how dangerous it is when a person gives the core and handle of life to others! Like pinning their hopes on their children; Put happiness in the husband; Put the security of life on the unit...

Warm tips: oneself is an arrow, if you want it tough, if you want it sharp, if you want it a hundred paces, a hundred shots, sharpen it, save it can only be their own.

2. The value of life

Don't let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams.

At a seminar, a famous speaker made no opening remarks, but held up a $20 bill. Facing the 200 people in the conference room, he asked, "Who wants the $20?" Hands went up, one by one. He continued, "I'm going to give this $20 to one of you, but before I do that, please allow me to do one thing." He crumpled up the bill and asked, "Who wants more?" Hands are still up. "And what if I did so?" he added. He dropped the bill on the ground, stepped on one foot and ran over it. Then he picked it up. It was all dirty and wrinkled. Who wants it now?" There were still hands up." My friends, you have had a very meaningful lesson. No matter what I do with that bill, you still want it, because it hasn't depreciated, it's still worth $20. On the road of life, we will be countless times by their own decisions or encounter

The adversity knocked down, bullied and even crushed to pieces. We felt as if we were worthless. But no matter what happens, or what will happen, you will never lose your value in the eyes of God. Dirty or clean, neatly dressed or not, you are still priceless to him."

Tips: The value of life does not depend on what we do, nor on the people we make friends with, but depends on us! We are unique -- never forget that!

3, hold your head up really beautiful

Although it is a black cow, the milk is white as well.

Jenny is a little girl who always keeps her head down. She always thinks she is not pretty enough. One day, she went to a jewelry store and bought a green bow. The shopkeeper kept telling her how beautiful she looked in the bow

Is very happy, not by holding up his head, anxious to let everyone see, go out and people bump did not care about. Jenny walked into the classroom and met her teacher head-on. "Jenny, how beautiful you look with your head up!" The teacher patted fondly

Pat her on the shoulder and say. On that day, she received many compliments. She thought it must be the bow, but when she looked in front of the mirror, there was no bow on her head. She must have lost it when she went out of the jewelry store. Confidence is a kind of beauty, but many people lose a lot of happiness because they care too much about appearance.

Tip: Whether rich or poor, whether beautiful or plain, as long as you hold your head up, happiness will make you lovely -- the kind of lovely that everyone likes.

4. Paint a leaf for life

As long as you believe, there are miracles, hope is slim, but it always exists.

O., American writer Henry tells a story in his novel The Last Leaf: in the ward, a dying patient saw a tree falling from the window in the autumn wind. The patient looked at the front of the rubs and leaves, the body is also deteriorating, worse day by day. "When all the leaves fall," she said, "I shall die, too." When an old artist learned of this, he drew a green leaf hanging on a branch with a colored pen.

The last leaf never fell. Miraculously, the patient survived because of this green patch of life.

Warm tip: life can be without a lot of things, but only can not be without hope. Hope is an important value of human life. Where there is hope, there is life!

5. Flying spiders

Faith is a kind of power, when you believe you can succeed, you will succeed.

One day, I noticed that a black spider had built a large web between the eaves of the backyard. Can spiders fly? Otherwise, from this CORnice to that CORnice, in the middle of a width of more than ten feet, how did the first line pull across?

Then I found that the spider had made many detours -- starting from a cornice, tying knots, going down the wall, climbing forward step by step, taking care not to let the silk stick to the sand or other objects on the ground, crossing the clearing,

Climb up to the opposite eaves again, and when the height is almost up, tighten the wire again, and do so again.

Tip: Spiders can't fly, but they can keep their webs in midair. It is a diligent, sensitive, silent, tenacious insect, whose web is exquisitely and conventionally made, spreading out in the shape of a gossip, as if aided by God. such

Achievements, people can not help but think of those who are silent and some hidden wise. So I remembered that spiders can't fly, but they still knot their webs in the air. Miracles are the work of the persistent.

6. The shadow is a paper dragon

There are a lot of external blows in your life, but it's up to you to decide what effect they will have on you.

My grandfather made me a long line out of paper. The gap of the long abdominal cavity can only accommodate a few locusts, put in, they all died in it, no escape! Grandfather said, "Locusts are so impetuous that they can do nothing but struggle

Thought to use the mouth to bite the long line, also do not know straight forward can climb out from the other end. So even though it has a mouth like iron pincers and serrated legs, it doesn't help." When grandfather put several of the same size green

The insect PUT IN from the TAP, then close the tap, miracle appeared: just a few minutes, the small green insects one by one climbed out from the tail of the dragon.

Tip: Fate is always hidden in our thoughts. Many people can not walk out of the different stages of life or small or big shadow, not because their natural personal conditions are much worse than others, but because they have no thought

To break the shadow paper dragon, there is no patience to slowly find a direction, step by step forward, until the eyes appear a new hole.

7, Success is not as difficult as you think

It is not because things are difficult that we dare not do them, but because we dare not do them that they are difficult.

In 1965, a Korean student went to Cambridge University to major in psychology. During afternoon tea, he often went to the school cafe or tea house to listen to some successful people chat. These successful people include Nobel Prize winners, a

Some of the academic authorities and some of the economic mythmakers, these people are funny, light weight, take their own success is very natural and logical. A long time later, he found that in the country when he was a

Some successful people cheat. These people tend to exaggerate their own difficulties in order to scare off those who are starting a business. In other words, they are using their success stories to scare those who are not yet successful.

As a psychology major, he thinks it is necessary to study the mentality of successful Koreans. In 1970, he submitted "Success isn't as Hard as You Think" as his senior thesis to the inventor of modern economic psychology

Will the first; Professor Braden. When Professor Braden read it, he was astonished. He thought it was a new discovery, a phenomenon which, though common in the East and even in the rest of the world, no one had dared to mention before

And study it. Surprised, he wrote to his Cambridge alumnus, Park Chung-hee, who was sitting at the top of South Korean politics. "I am not sure how much this work has helped you," he wrote, "but I am sure it has made more of an impact than any of your decrees." The book took off with the Korean economy. The book has inspired many people, because they tell people from a new perspective that success has nothing to do with "working hard, starving the body and skin", "three nights of light and five nights of chicken", and "hanging the head and sticking the head in the head." As long as you're interested in something, stick with it for a long time

You will succeed because God has given you the time and wisdom to do one thing well. Later, the young man was also successful and became the president of Fanye Motors.

Warm tip: many things in the world, as long as want to do, can do, the difficulties to overcome, also can overcome, without what iron will, more need not what skills or strategy. As long as one is simple and

Living with interest, he will eventually find that the nature of the world, the arrangement is natural.

8. Forever ticket

Life is funny: if you accept only the best, you will often get the best.

There was a man who often went on business trips and often couldn't get the right ticket. But no matter how long or short, no matter how crowded the bus was, he could always find a seat.

His method is actually very simple, is patiently one compartment one compartment to find the past. It doesn't sound like a brilliant idea, but it works. Each time, he was prepared to go from the first car to the last, but each time he did not have to go to the end to find an empty seat. That's because, he says, not many passengers are as persistent as he is. It is often in the carriage where he sits that there are a number of seats left, and in which

The aisles and junctions of his carriages were full. 'Most passengers are easily fooled by the appearance of one or two cars being crowded,' he says. 'They don't think much about the seating opportunities that flow up and down the train's dozen doors during dozens of stops.' And even if they did, they didn't have the patience to find it. Most people are easily satisfied with a small foothold in front of them, and some feel it is not worth the burden of packing for a seat or two. They were also afraid that if they could not find a seat, there would be no place to stand back. Like some people in life who are satisfied with the status quo and afraid of failure, they can only stay in the starting point of no success forever, and most of these passengers who do not want to take the initiative to find a seat can only stand in the first place when getting on the bus until they get off.

Warm tip: Self-confidence, perseverance, foresight, diligent in practice, will let you hold a journey of life forever ticket.

9, the heart of the stone

What prevents us from discovering and creating is only the obstacles in our minds and the stones in our minds.

Once upon a time there was a large stone in a family's vegetable garden. It was about forty centimeters wide and ten centimeters high. Anyone who goes to the garden will kick a big stone and fall or bruise. The son asked, "Dad, why don't you dig away that lousy rock?" Dad replied, "You mean the rock? From your grandfather's time, has been up to now, it is so large, do not know to dig until when, nothing boring dig stone, it is better to walk carefully, but also can train your reaction ability. After a few years, the big stone was left to the next generation. The son then married a wife and became a father. One day the daughter-in-law said angrily, "Dad, the more I see that big stone in the vegetable garden, the more I dislike it, the better to ask someone to take it away."

Dad replied, "Forget it! That big stone is very heavy. If I could have moved it when I was a child, why would I let it stay now?" Daughter-in-law heart very not taste, that big stone do not know how many times she fell. One morning, the daughter-in-law took a hoe and a bucket of water and poured the whole bucket of water around the big rock. More than ten minutes later, the daughter-in-law with a hoe to the rock around the soil stirred loose. The daughter-in-law had been mentally prepared that it might take a day to dig, but no one expected to dig up the stone in a few minutes. Looking at the size, the stone was not as big as expected, but was deceived by the huge appearance.

Tip: When you climb a mountain with the idea of going downhill, you can't climb it. If your world is dull and hopeless, it is because you are dull and hopeless. Change your world, must change your own mentality.

10, the pursuit of selflessness

Don't think of yourself as a rat, or the cat will eat you.

In 1858, a rich family in Sweden gave birth to a daughter. Soon, however, the child developed an unexplained form of paralysis and lost the ability to walk. Once, the girl and her family were on a boat trip. The captain's wife told the children that the captain had a bird of paradise. She was so fascinated by the description of the bird that she wanted to see it for herself. So the nurse left the child on deck and went to the captain herself. The child could not bear to wait. She asked the bellboy to take her immediately to see the bird of paradise. The waiter did not know that her legs could not walk, but took her with him to see the beautiful bird. A miracle

The child because of excessive desire, unexpectedly forget oneself to pull the hand of the waiter, slowly walked up. From then on, the child was cured. When the girl grew up, she devoted herself to literature and finally became the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in literature, that is, Thelma Lagernoff.

Warm tip: selflessness is a shortcut to success, only in this environment, people will transcend their own bondage, release the greatest energy.

11. Optimists and pessimists

An optimist sees an opportunity in every crisis, while a pessimist sees a crisis in every opportunity.

Father wants to make "character transformation" to a pair of twin brothers, because one is too optimistic, and the other is too pessimistic. One day, he bought many colorful new toys for the pessimistic child, and sent the optimistic child to a garage filled with horse manure. The next morning, the father see pessimistic children are sobbing, then asked: "why not play with those toys?"

"It will break if you play it." The child is still crying.

The father sighed and went into the garage, only to find the optimistic child happily picking something out of the horse manure.

"Tell you what, Dad." The boy proudly declared to his father, "I think there must be a pony hidden in the horse dunghill!"

Warm tip: between the optimist and the pessimist, the difference is very interesting: the optimist sees the doughnut, the pessimist sees a hole.
