In everyone’s life, there are moments that put us to test, good ones, bad ones, silly ones, bothering ones, challenging ones, life changing ones.

At a any given time, love can cross our paths. For others. Would wait for life.

Some, although felt completed, the dark shadow hovering over their soul, praying for the right moment to snatch your heart, it the monster lurking in the shadows.

For Traci and Martin, having met at middle school, thought they were the perfect match.

Both even chose where to take their way home together to keep company. They looked like the perfect cute lovely couple.

One fall afternoon, where tricolour trees and that cold breeze started to lift up tree leaves from the ground, also lifted up some height spirits….

That day, as perfect as it could’ve been, suddenly changed, revealing a wrath in full force. A tornado, unexpectedly made its way through a town in the valley, catching unexpected travellers and explorers on its destructive path. The damaging winds forcefully ripped off trees from the ground like picking up cloverleafs from the ground, and spitting then against the road as a temporary kids tempter tantrum. Down at

Farrowfort campsite everything was beautiful, even the sun, unaware of the upcoming fist of nature’s anger did not even see it coming.

Like an octopus curious to discover what was lurking on the ground, destroyed everything on its path, disturbing and throwing everything kilometres away like toys, not respecting anything.

Some had only seen a black shadow coming from far, but not their hidden destroying hands. It took cars, atvs, homes, pools, chairs, roofs, and threw them kilometres away from they were.

Being inside the tornado force, once in, you just brace for impact. No time for extras. Their last recollection was the screaming of people and crazy running of people tuning away.

In a blink of an eye, they got taken by the fury anger of the tornado. They both only look at each other trying to reach others hands and hold on tight, to the RV they had rented. The mere hard pull of the tornado made Traci yell out of deep scary anxiety provoked by the sudden pull.

The fear of getting crushed lingered on Martin’s mind, where all he could do was to hold on tight to Traci and kiss her on her head as he hold her tight against his body.

The RV started to shake as the tornado pull it from the ground. Traci only screamed out for help as the camper rotated up in the air. Then everything went black. The silence, peaceful reigned in the moment, and the cold was gone.

It felt like everything just stopped, frozen in time.

Traci opened her eyes. The sun was so bright. It almost blinded her.

She tried to stand up, but her legs defeated her. Weak and bruised, her concentration was not the greatest. Needed to be aware of her surroundings.

She was okay, no bones broken. Although her body ached, the thought of not seeing Martin panicked her. Almost crawling to the main door of the RV, did not see Martin anywhere close by made her mind play tricks on her. Annoyed by the fearful thoughts of loosing him, got her composure, tried to stand up, feeling weak, looked everywhere, calling his name

-Martin!…. Love!…..

Where are you love?!

-are you okay love?

Please answer to me love!

The howling wind still complained, like swearing at the place where the tornado landed and touched ground. Distant cracking and muffled voices and crying made the scenery feel creeping.

No answer back from Martin.

-love, for Christ sake, answer me please!

Where are you love?!…..

At a distance, Roland, a pitbull they rescued, came to her, thanking her licking her hand.

-Roland, honey have you seen Martin?

-Martin!….love… sweetheart!

I love you darling! Where are you?!

Answer media please!

No answer….a moment later sirens invaded the air, and paramedics got a hold of her. She could see the paramedics approaching her. As she noticed them coming to check up on her, she fainted.

Roland barking real hard couldn’t be heard by Traci, she just lost consciousness.

Martin?

Still no where to be found.

love
