Self-confidence is defined as a sense of security in one's abilities, qualities, and judgments. When you have to do something and know that you can do it and how to do it, it means you trust yourself. And you will do it right.

But what happens when you don't know how to do something and you think you can't do it?

Then comes the feeling of self-doubt.

The problem is that when you start on the road with the thought that you don't know what will come out, how it will come out, you don't see the result you want to get, when you think something won't go well with this whole story, that's exactly what will happen. and it happens: it won't work out.

Or worse, nothing will come of it because fearing that you will fail, you will not try to do the thing you want to do.

If you want to do something and you want it to work out, you need to put those thoughts aside and think about the result.

With the thought of what you want to achieve, you will be able to control your fear of the unknown and make the unknown a habit.

How to trust yourself that you can do whatever you want

"Life is not easy for any of us. So what? We must have perseverance and above all, self-confidence. We have to believe that we have the talent to do something, and that has to be done. " - Marie Curie

When you want to do something new for yourself, something you have never done before and does not trust yourself to do, you must remember that:

No one is born with the confidence that he knows how to do something

Have you ever wondered how certain women can be so confident when they drive a car or drive other people?

Do you think that you don't trust yourself so much when you're behind the wheel and you're always afraid of making a mistake and making people laugh at you? Or worse, not doing something wrong to endanger your life and the lives of others?

Can you imagine how a woman can lead other people, have so many responsibilities, so many decisions to make, and so many people to tell? Do you think that you would not be able to organize things so well if you were in her place?

Don't get me wrong, it's a good idea to ask yourself these questions. But don't give up on these curiosities right after you have them.

Were they born with self-confidence?

Not.

Never believe that these women were born in the seat of a car or in the driver's seat of a company (metaphorically speaking).

Don't think that they were born with the confidence that they can do what they want and that's why they succeeded.

No, they are just like you.

They also had moments when they thought they couldn't do the right thing they wanted to do, and they wondered how others could do so well.

They also wondered how others could have so much self-confidence.

The difference was made when they decided to act on what they wanted to gain experience and trust.

Did they want to drive a car without stress? They read the traffic rules once more and set out to drive every day until driving became a habit.

Did they want to lead other people? They studied the art of leading people and then began to put into practice what they learned until they became accustomed to mobilizing people.

Confidence in them comes from the habit of doing something. The more you practice a thing, the more it becomes a habit. The more accustomed you are to doing something, the better.

  • You know you can do the same for them, right?
  • Determine what you want to do and how to do it and be aware of that…

You have confidence in yourself after you have overcome your fear of failure

Whether I'm doing something that requires more work or one that requires less work, what do the two types of women I talked about above have in common?

They have 2 things in common:

1. The desire to do something. They want to master a certain field, look for ways to do it, and follow the steps to get the result they want.

2. Practice. Once they have mastered the information needed for the field in which they want to progress, they apply what they have learned until they become accustomed to the unknown.

How do they come up with something out of the ordinary? They overcome their fear of failure.

What is failure?

Failure is a failure in an action. A definition that generates no feeling. Failed in an action. That's all.

However, we attach great importance to it in our lives. Far too big for what it means.

Failure is often interpreted as a defeat. When you try to do something and you don't do well at first, and often you don't do well at first, you say you failed.

You have failed and take this result as a defeat, as the greatest misfortune in your life.

What if everyone stopped at the first failure in an action where you think we would be now? Probably in ancient times. Nothing would have evolved, everything would have remained as it was then.

People who want to get something done and succeed put that desire first and don't let the fear of failure stop them from getting what they want.

Those who are successful in life have overcome their fear of failure. Failure for them is part of progress. When he fails in action, he looks for other ways to do it.

And as an old saying goes, "man learns by mistake." What is certain in this proverb? That you learn, that is, that you will know better how to do something.

So why be afraid of failure in action when it can lead you to the outcome you want?

Why look at failure as the greatest misfortune, as your greatest enemy you don't want to see?

Look at failure as a simple failure and see to it that your goal is to do the thing you want to do.

And keep in mind that:

  • You can't trust yourself that you can do something if you don't try to do it.
  • You have to practice the things you want to do until you are successful.
  • This is the only way to be confident that you can do whatever you want.
