The love season has arrived, and as has been the case for decades, everyone is ecstatic. Valentine's Week is something that everyone looks forward to, whether it's a romantic trip or a scheduled meal. While everyone celebrates Valentine's Day on February 14, the true party begins a week before.

Why do we celebrate Valentine's Day?

Valentine's Day is a set day on the calendar that was merged with Lupercalia, a mid-February celebration on the ancient Roman calendar, which some historians believe is how Valentine's Day came to be associated with love. Lupercalia was a fertility festival that may have involved a ceremony in which men and women were matched by picking names from a jar. The marriage of the god Zeus and the goddess Hera was commemorated in Ancient Greece with a mid-winter festival.

Valentine Week

February is the month of love, and it's never too early to celebrate. The mood swings created by such beauty can surely make anyone bloom with joy as the harshness of winter fades and we watch blooming flowers take over our gardens with plants all around us. This year, Valentine's Day occurs between February 7 and 14, giving individuals who are single the opportunity to express their love for someone special while also participating in exciting activities together, such as dining at restaurants or taking a romantic walk near waterfalls.

Rose Day, Propose Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Promise Day, Hug Day, Kiss Day, and Valentine's Day are all part of Valentine's Week. This is love month, so savor each and every day of the week. Make memories so that you may smile even on the gloomiest days when you think back to this day.

Rose Day (February 7)

Rose Day is the first day of the week when red roses are exchanged to signify affection. The colour red is frequently associated with love and beauty. So, this Rose Day, give your partner a beautiful red rose bouquet.

Yellow flowers are often exchanged on this day. Yellow flowers are a symbol of everlasting friendship.

So, the rose is yours, and the day is yours as well!

It goes without saying what this day implies. The day you express your love and feelings in front of the person you love is known as Propose Day. This is the day to tell someone how you feel about them if you've been waiting to do so. Do not let it pass you by without submitting the long-awaited proposal. Today is the day to say it!

Chocolate Day (February 9)

This is the most enjoyable day of the entire Valentine's week. Who doesn't like a good chocolate bar? Giving your lover a gift of the finest chocolates might make all the difference. A box of chocolates can't possibly go wrong.

Nobody can say they don't like a large, cuddly teddy bear. A teddy bear may perform wonders for strained relationships and friendships. Nothing improves a person's mood like a thoughtful and attractive presentation. Teddies represent innocence and the sensation of being cherished.

Promise Day (February 11)

Promises aren't necessarily meant to be broken, after all! On your promise day, you swear to stick with your spouse through thick and thin, or thin and thin, depending on the scenario. The promise day is the most beautiful day of Valentine's Week since it is marked with an oath of love and a lifetime commitment.

Hug Day (February 12)

Do you know that a hug may instantly alleviate a person's misery and sorrow? Such is the power of a warm hug. In a relationship, don't forget to hug out any resentment or misunderstanding. Hug Day represents our maturity in dealing with adversity and how matured our sensitivity is in dealing with a partner's good and bad.

Kiss Day (February 13)

With a kiss, you may seal your love! What could be more romantic than a kiss to express your love? On Kiss Day, don't be afraid to show your affection in the most honest way possible.
