Holiday Mindful Pause

Holiday Mindful Pause

By Lynne BlackPublished 26 days ago 4 min read

So, I’m taking a holiday mindful pause to unplug and rewind. With the festive season here, I am taking time to enjoy time off from work.

Holiday Mindful Pause

In the first place, it is easy to get bogged down with lots of things to do. But if you are looking to make the holidays special, it is important to remember that you can cut yourself some slack.

Af the same time, make a list of things you need to do.

To Do List Notepad

When you are looking for a way to manage your day-to-day tasks, this notepad features 52 sheets to keep you focused on your priorities.

In addition, this notepad is versatile and can be used for planning home projects, shopping lists, teachers, and work.

Furthermore, this notepad is practical for everyone.

Festive Season

In my opinion, it is crucial for me to take time off to focus on long-term productivity and my well-being.

The festive season contains everything I love.

Moreover, enjoying the season involves what I love. Of course, I enjoy shopping for presents for people in my life. From getting together with people I love to focusing on joyful activities such as visiting holiday markets, to decorating.

At the same time, I love seeing the holiday lights, which boost my happiness during the cold, dark Winter months.

Tips to Relieve Stress

Indeed, sometimes the festive season can bring stress. Whether you have days packed with shopping, gift wrapping, or a packed social calendar, it’s time to relax and enjoy the season.

In today’s fast-paced world, the demands of my business can be overwhelming. Moreover, this Fall, I hired a company to give my Websuite a fresh look. However, this company created a mess for me. I only wanted a new home design and theme, not my WordPress set-up to change. But this company added a program that neither my team nor I were familiar with. In fact, I have lost over 50% of my content and images, which has disrupted my workflow.

Luckily, I have a great professional relationship with my prior developer and one of my team members who is assisting me in cleaning things up.

With work being done on my site presently, this is the perfect time for me to unplug.

Hence, I will limit my usage of digital devices.

Additionally, I am planning to unwind and relax.

Because I will be focusing on mindfulness, this will definitely help reduce my stress, making the holiday season more enjoyable.

Time for Yourself

Of course, finding some time for yourself is essential. Check out my Holiday Self Care post for some of my suggestions to prevent burnout.

When it comes to carving out some time, set boundaries. For example, if you receive an overwhelming amount of invitations, you can politely decline them.

Once your shopping is done, it’s time to read a good book or watch a holiday movie. For some ideas, visit my Best Holiday & Christmas Books, Movies, and Music for Everyone post.

In the same way, set some time to do some things you love. Moreover, if you love to read, find a quiet place to immerse yourself in a good story.

When Ivy Met Mr. Holiday

When you are looking to get lost in a fun and witty story, this book is perfect.

Ivy meets Jack at the salon where she works at and what starts as a friendship soon turns into fake dating and a love story.

Home Bath Set Self Care Package

Of course, this self-care package is ideal for relaxing and pampering.

Included in this package are 9 different products to turn your bathtime into a luxurious retreat.

Additionally, this set makes a great gift.

Meanwhile, if you like crafts, there are many places offering workshops. In fact, I recently signed up at the local library to make a Winter greeting card. However, if you prefer to make something at home, there are many arts and crafts projects. Also, these are fun activities to bond with your family.

Winter Village Bottle Art Kit

Whether you are looking to make something on your own or with other people, this kit is ideal.

Included in this kit are 3 paints, 1 glitter glue, LED fairy lights with a string with a cork, a paint brush, and instructions.

Also, some other things you can do for yourself are the following.

Exercise!

Go for a walk!

Learn something new!

Organize and declutter!

Volunteer!

In summary, my holiday mindful pause is a necessity for me in today’s business world.

As always, I welcome your comments on my holiday mindful pause.

Finally, I will return on Friday, January 2, 2026, with new fashion, beauty, & Lifestyle blog posts.

Happy Holidays!
