Chapter 1

Okay. No reason to be nervous. You've been here a million times. You got this. Just walk in and tell the nice reception lady you're here for an appointment. Aghhhh. Taeyong's hand willed itself to push the door open. He walked over to the lady, waiting for her to finish a phone call.

"How can I help you?" She said in a slightly aggravated tone, presumably because of a jackass customer she previously had a call with.

"Hi, I'm here for an appointment at 4." She tappity tapped on the computer for a couple of seconds.

"Yes with Miss Quinlin. She should be ready to collect you at any moment. Feel free to take a seat." She ends with a forced smile. Must be having a bad day. Or life.

"Thank you." Taeyong bows ever so slightly, before sitting down on an uncomfortable wooden chair. He felt it would be rude to get his phone out, so he observed the posters plastered to the wall. He bet it was to secretly cover up the chipped paint that no one bothered to fix. No one ever bothers. One said, "I deserve to be happy." Another said, "The things that are worth having are the hardest to obtain." Ouch. "When I eat like crap I feel like crap."I can't help but feel that one is directed at me.

"Mr Lee?" A familiar voice called. He smiled and followed her into the office, taking a seat on the big comfy chair, making him feel like a king.

"How have you been Miss Quinlin?"

"Please, call me Amanda."

"How have you been? Amanda." Their therapy session commenced.

34 minutes later...

"Thank you very much, enjoy your cousin's wedding this weekend!" Taeyong replied cheerfully as he walked out of her office.

"I will, thank you, Mr Lee. See you next week." Amanda couldn't help but smile widely after he left. He was such a kind patient every time. He genuinely cared about her and was very thankful. Also, if he were 10 years older and not her patient, she'd totally do him. Despite how insightful he was, he had no clue of any of this. She frequently fantasized about his tongue inside of her but had to remain professional and keep that to herself.

Taeyong walked through the lobby, waiting in line to talk to the receptionist, ready to book an appointment for the following week. He was getting pretty stressed lately and needed it. Glancing around the room casually, he noticed someone. He looked about the same age, also in a school uniform. It was green, as opposed to his dark red one. He was engrossed in something on his phone. A rare sight. He usually saw middle-aged women, tiny children or grumpy looking old people there. Never boys his own age. They're usually too ashamed to get help. Or too thick-headed to know they need it.

On Taeyong's way out he glanced at the boy again, who also happened to look up at the same time. They looked at each other for a few awkward seconds, before he was out the door. That was awkward. I really should know that staring at strangers is highly inappropriate. But he looked so... Taeyong ignored that last thought and proceeded to go home.

Later that night, Taeyong's brain decided it had had enough of 1 am algebra, and told itself to go to bed. He wrapped himself in many blankets and expected to fall asleep instantly. In the darkness of his room, he recalled the boy he saw. His hair was messy and a light shade of brown, perfectly suited to his tanned skin. He looked nice. I wonder if I'll see him again. He thought before drifting off to sleep.

Chapter 2

Taeyong sat in the same seat as the previous week. He was relaxed after his session, waiting for Amanda to walk out and give him some paperwork. That was until...

It's him. The boy he saw last week, sat with a seat between them, browsing through twitter or something. Taeyong's seat was next to the avalanche-like display of brochures. The boy got up, walked over to the stand and looked through them. He's standing really close, has this guy ever heard of personal space?

"Excuse me, which one of these would you recommend?" The boy asked, Taeyong looked up at him, confused, and replied "...The blue one." referring to the brochure with an animation of a dog laughing.

"Thanks, man," he says, sitting down directly next to him. All the other seats are free..why must you make me anxious by sitting right there.??

Amanda came out and handed Taeyong his papers before telling him kindly,

"Enjoy the rest of your day." He thanked her, shoved the papers in his bag and left. On his walk home he replayed the interaction in his mind. The way he just talked to me out of nowhere and looked in my eyes without hesitation. He must have lots of confidence. I wonder why he's in therapy. Taeyong returned home, hugging his Mother and grabbing a snack.

"Mum, how'd your meeting go?" He opened the fridge in search of yoghurt and a glass of pineapple juice. He drank pineapple juice every chance he could. Their pantry remained stocked with it constantly.

"Surprisingly it went okay. It was boring, but trust me at my office that's a good thing. That buffoon Carol didn't insult me once!"

"I'm happy to hear that." Taeyong chugged the liquid pineapple straight out of the carton.

"What are your plans this evening, honey?"

"I was planning on studying, then maybe watching an episode of anime," Taeyong replied through a mouthful of yoghurt.

"Feel free to watch TV with me in the living room later. However, I know you're very busy with your studies and I respect that." She avoided looking at him, seeming down. He hugged her again.

"Of course I'll watch it with you. What time does the bachelor start?"

"8:30" She replied, squished against his embrace.

"I'll be there." And with that, he locked himself in his room and did flashcards for religious definitions for 3 hours.

"I'd choose Samuel honestly. Stupid roses can't make up for the fact that Greg is an airhead." His mother commented.

"I disagree, Greg is the most handsome!" Taeyong basically shouted.

"You only like Greg because of his charms. Samuel is the ultimate beauty." She stated proudly before sipping her wine. They sat on the couch, watching whatever was on tv and argued about plot details. He loved his mum and those moments together.

"Mum, as much as I'd love to gush about Greg and Samuel with you all night, I have school tomorrow."

"Goodnight my beautiful offspring" she hugged him, "I'll be leaving early tomorrow morning, so I won't see you until next Sunday." His mother said sadly.

"I'll miss you. Goodnight mum."

Taeyong made her a cup of camomile tea before hopping into bed.

Chapter 3:

It was Monday afternoon. With an appointment at the therapy center for 4:30pm, and school finishing at 3:30 pm, he had some time to kill. He felt too awkward going to the library by himself, so he went straight to the centre and sat in the waiting room. He opened his electronic flashcards, intending on doing that for the next million minutes, and he did so successfully until a familiar figure sat down next to him.

God to the dammit. This is already awkward. He's returned, and once again in the seat directly next to me. Time to make use of my therapy sessions and make small talk. It'd be more bearable than sitting in complete silence, with only the sound of bitchy Karen's receptionist typing to keep him sane.

"Um, h-how are you?" Taeyong asked the pretty boy, who looked at him, seeming caught off guard.

"I'm good thank you." He politely smiled.

"I'm scheduled to go in at 4:30, how about you?" He asked Taeyong.

"Same. Have you been coming here long?" Taeyong felt like throwing up. He didn't partake in casual conversation with strangers much.

"Only a couple of months. I've found it extremely helpful, and I'm grateful to have someone to listen to my problems."

"Oh same, it's wonderful having someone listen without judgement." Taeyong agreed, feeling himself relax slightly.

"You go to Emmanuel High school right?" The boy asked.

"Yeah, and you go to Brauer?" Taeyong referred to the boy's green uniform, perfectly ironed and stain free. He noticed his shirt was perfectly tucked in.

"Correct. The teachers are snooty, but the garden's really pretty."

Taeyong let out a chuckle. They said nothing for a moment.

"What's your name?" The boy asked.

"Mr Jung?" A middle-aged lady with grey hair and glasses called out.

"Yes thank you!" He said to the woman. "It was nice to meet you." He said to Taeyong, who gave him a closed mouth smile as he walked off. He felt like he wanted to implode. He'd actually had a successful small talk with a complete stranger. Mum would be so proud of me. He thought to himself before getting called in by the lovely Amanda lady.

Taeyong tried to compose himself after his session. It got quite deep and he ended up crying. The previous night he finally decided to stop with being a caveman and figured out how to book appointments online, so he didn't need to speak with the Karen lady again. I don't know her name but by the looks of her face, I bet she's a Karen. He thought as he walked outside the building. He saw the boy from earlier. You've gone this far, you might as well go and ask him his name! He told himself. There was only one problem, his legs seemed to be frozen. He panicked and grabbed his phone, pretending to read an incoming text that didn't exist. He planned on staying like that till the dude walked off, so he wouldn't have to walk past him and avoid eye contact.

"Hey, I never got your name earlier." The boy suddenly appeared in front of him, as if he teleported, causing Taeyong to drop his phone. He scrambled to pick it up in the gravel. The boy rushed down to help him. They were both kneeling on the ground at the same time, looking at each other. Taeyong stared at him blankly.

"I'm...Taeyong" He managed to get out. The boy grabbed his arms to help him up.

"My name's Jaehyun. Are you okay?" He asked, concerned.

"Uh, yeah I'm okay. Thank you." Taeyong said, he felt embarrassed. He was never the type to be clumsy like this. His voice is really pretty. Also, I wanna die what the f-

"I'm glad I could finally introduce myself." He dusted the gravel off his pants.

" Are you waiting for someone to pick you up Taeyong?"

"Oh, I'm walking. I live that way." Taeyong pointed in the vague direction of the building he inhabits.

"I live in that direction also. Wanna accompany me? Unless there's somewhere else you need to be." Jaehyun offers.

"Y-yeah sure."

"Excellent." Jaehyun started to walk, Taeyong's legs struggled to catch up.

Wow, his legs are long. And he's taller than me. Must be 6ft 2 or something, Jesus.

A cute boy is walking with me. A cute boy is walking with me. Okay, this is fine right? I'm fine.

The boys walked on the footpath along the quiet neighbourhood, the flowers and trees blooming being especially extravagant.

"So how long have you lived in this quaint little town?" Jaehyun asked, walking on the grass.

"Most of my life. Moved here when I was 5. How about you? Did you recently move here?" Taeyong wasn't sure if he should have looked at him or the ground as they walked.

"Moved here about 4 months ago. My parents needed my room as an office space, so they brought me a little house and shipped me here. New school and all. Oh, how old are you?" Jaehyun asked abruptly.

"I'm 18."

"17. Guess that makes you my Hyung." Taeyong smiled. He was always much younger than most of his friends, so he didn't often get this chance. He finally had someone to call him Hyung. He felt giddy.

"How are you finding living alone?" Taeyong asked he looked at him as he waited for a response.

"It's....how do I say this...really fun." Jaehyun chuckled as he looked down. Guess he's enjoying the constant masturbation freedom. Oh God, get out of my head image!

"That's awesome. So young and independent."

They walked for 10 more minutes in peaceful silence, enjoying the warm sun and a nice atmosphere.

Taehyung stops at a street corner.

"My house is down this street."

"Mine's only a block away."

"I'll see you around," Taeyong says, about to walk off.

"Hey wait!" Jaehyun grabbed his arm, "Can I have your number?" Taeyong locked eyes with him for the second time today. Holy shit.

"Yeah." he responds, grabbing his phone and typing his number in, saving his contact as "Taeyong Hyung". He really liked this whole 'Hyung' thing. It made him feel powerful.

"Okay, I'll see you around Hyung!" Jaehyun gave a short wave and crossed the road to make his way home.

"..Bye," Taeyong said quietly under his breath. He blushed the whole way home, and maybe for 40 minutes after that. THE CUTE GUY WANTED MY NUMBER AHHH. He felt like screaming. He was really cute...I like Jaehyun. I hope he texts me soon.

Later that night Taeyong got in the shower and washed his hair with blueberry shampoo.

A cute guy asked me for my number and called me Hyung. What a day it's been. He remembered his eyes, how they were genuine and kind, but also looked, powerful. I bet he could get powerful if he wanted. He's confident, that could turn into many things under certain circumstances. Like maybe he'd be that way towards me?

Chapter4:

Taeyong almost fell asleep on his sandwich. He went to sleep at 4 am the previous night because of an assignment he was determined to finish. And he hated Wednesdays in general. They're good because it means one has survived half a week, however that also means they must survive two more dreaded days till they can sleep in. So the pros and cons basically cancel each other out, resulting in a meh kind of day. He sat alone in the cafeteria. His friend Maurice had a horrible case of the flu and will probably be absent for a few weeks, and was so sick that he was sleeping too much to answer Tae's texts. So poor TaeTae was alone. He drank his green tea and nibbled on a biscuit, staring into space. Did my ass cheek just vibrate? Oh right, a text. He pulled out his phone, eyebrows knitted in confusion as he saw an "unknown number". He opened the message.

Jae: Hey Taeyong. This is Jaehyun from the therapy centre. How's your day going?

I wanna throw up and fling myself off a ceiling fan.

Tae: Hi Jaehyun. Nice to hear from you. I'm okay, just at school eating lunch.

Jae: I was wondering if you wanted to meet for coffee sometime?

Oh my. He wants to meet my lame ass for caffeinated beverages.

Tae: I'd be happy to.

Jae: What day this week suits you?

Tae: How about today after school? I haven't got much on.

A couple minutes go by.

Jae: Sounds good. Wanna meet at the RCH at 4?

Rainbow Coffee House. It's a long name.

Tae: Sounds good :)

Taeyong smiled at his phone. He didn't care if he looked like an idiot. He was excited to get to know him. He chugged his green tea and packed up, mentally preparing for two hours of soul-sucking essay planning.

Taeyong couldn't help but zone out in class. He was kinda nervous. He'd only spoken with Jaehyun for a combined total of 20 minutes or so. Do I even have a life? What will I talk about? What drink order will make me look the least insane??

He snapped out of it and focused on the work in front of him. He may as well get all his work done so he can watch reality TV once he gets home. He spent the next 50 minutes in intense concentration.

He walked up to the cafe, taking a deep breath before entering. Will he be here already?

He looked around and spotted a familiar face in the corner. He walked over as casually as he could.

"Hi!" Jaehyun got up and greeted him happily, hugging him gently. Taeyong hugged him back, startled by his unexpected physical contact. Taeyong's heart started to speed up.

"H-how are you Jaehyun?" Taeyong forced out, sitting down immediately to escape his anxiety.

"Okay. I'm a little tired. How about you?"

"Me too. Really needed the coffee today. Thanks for inviting me." Taeyong said, actually feeling a little better in his presence.

"What kinda coffee do you like? I'll order for you."

"Jaehyun no, you don't have to-"

"I insist. My treat. What would you like?"

Taeyong thought for a moment.

"A latte please?"

"No problem, I'll be right back." He walked up to the counter. Taeyong fiddled with the menu like the child he was.

"Shouldn't be long." Jaehyun returned and sat down. "I haven't had coffee in so long. I've missed it."

"Really?" Taeyong responded.

"I used to drink it daily, but my digestion didn't agree with it, so now I have it on occasion."

Taeyong thinks for a moment.

"Well If you ever need the bathroom, I'll make sure to escort you." Taeyong smiled.

"Hyung, don't mess around, I will hold you to that." Taeyong looked at him, grinning.

Their coffees arrived. They thanked the waitress and took their first sip.

"Oh my god. I've missed this. How's your latte?"

Taeyong took a second sip.

"It tastes plain, but not too bitter. So I approve." Taeyong said contently.

"Mine's so good. Try some Hyung." He sat his drink in front of him. Tae examined it.

"Uh, okay." He took a sip. "Oh wow. It's really good."

"Caramel macchiato. It's been my favourite for years." Jaehyun took Taeyong's drink and tried some.

"Yours is okay. But mine is better." Jaehyun took his drink back and took another sip.

"Careful. Only one toilet in this place." Taeyong said, taking a sip of free water.

"I know, but you'll carry me there so I'll be fine."

Oh no. He's sassy too.

They enjoyed their drinks.

"How are your studies going Jaehyun?"

"Uh. Up and down? Some subjects I enjoy but others I don't, I find the workload draining and overwhelming. I really enjoy art though."

"You do? What kind of art?" Taeyong enquired, genuinely interested.

"I like painting and drawing. I like staying in the art room during lunch and free periods and drawing stuff I find online."

"That's really cool. Do you draw people naked?"

Jaehyun almost choked on his coffee.

"What subjects do you enjoy?" He asked, dodging the question.

"I really enjoy science. Biology specifically. Every other subject bores me, but I could watch bio lectures and read articles for hours."

"That's wonderful. I also enjoy that subject but have trouble understanding it."

"The animated videos they make us watch are totally adorable though, aren't they?"

"Agreed."

They continued to chat, sipping their sophistication drinks till they were empty. 30 minutes had passed, but it felt like minutes.

"Should we go?" Taeyong asked.

"Yeah, I paid earlier so we're all good. I'm just gonna run to the bathroom." Jaehyun got up and went to do his business. Probably pooping but we'll never know.

He's so pretty. He was lost in thought when his friend returned.

"Ready?" Jaehyun asked as he walked to the back of Taeyong's chair and helped him put his coat on. Taeyong was at a loss for words.

"You're such a gentleman," Taeyong said softly, his thoughts escaping his mouth before they could register to his brain.

He patted Taeyong's back. They walked out, into the goddamn freezing bloody cold frost of the outside.

"Thank you for the coffee, I appreciate it."

"It was my pleasure. Have a good evening Hyung."

"You too, bye!" They waved as they walked separate directions back to their houses.

Taeyong slammed his door shut, locking it and slumping to the floor.

That was fun. Too fun. God Dammit it was perfect. Too perfect...Almost like a date. He shook his head. I'm being ridiculous. He proceeded to cook pasta for dinner.

It couldn't have been... He thought as he stirred the pasta.

Yeah. No way. He told himself as he vacuumed his carpet.

Impossible. He told himself as he brushed his teeth.

It was 11:55 pm, and Taeyong couldn't fall asleep for the life of him. Probably all the fucking coffee. Who the hell decided coffee dates were socially acceptable after midday!?

"Date.”

He threw the blankets off of him and stormed out of bed to the bathroom, splashing his face with cold water. He stared at the sink, then at his reflection.

Date or not. I don't care. I had a good time. I had a good time with him. And I hope I get to hang out with him soon.

He went back to bed, got in the blankets and closed his eyes. 20 seconds later he remembered an urgent paper which was due tomorrow.

"Shit."

Chapter 5:

It was Friday night. Taeyong had his nose buried in a textbook as usual. It wasn't on Biology, which was tragic. It was MATH. Math can go die, seriously.

I've been at this question for 15 minutes, and I still get the answer wrong?! What the crappity-crap turds. Taeyong's unorthodox swearing is interrupted by a buzz. He checked his phone.

Jae: *sent an image*

A cat?

Jae: This is my neighbour's new pet. His name is Mittens and he's known as the street's local fluffball.

The image was of a black kitten with white fur on its paws.

Tae: I love him.

Jae: Thought so. I'll be the wedding planner for you two.

Tae: I'd pay you but I barely have enough money for bread this week.

Jae: It's okay, we'll work something out.

Taeyong pondered how to respond. He didn't want the conversation to end.

Just as he was about to tell him a bad knock-knock joke, he received another text.

Jae: Wanna come over and study tomorrow?

Taeyong had to put the phone face down for a minute and take some deep breaths.

Tae: What time?

Jae: I'll be over at 12 to pick you up.

Wow-what a graND sleep in.

Tae: See you then.

Taeyong didn't say any more than that. He wanted to appear cool, not clingy and desperate. So far it's been working. Right?

He went to bed, forgetting about stupid schoolwork. He stared at the picture of Mittens before falling into a restful slumber.

He woke up at 8:00 the next morning, on the dot! He was pissed off that the day he can sleep in, he wakes up early. His routine usually went like this:

Wake up, brush teeth, make the bed, go downstairs, have a cup of rooibos tea and yoghurt for breakfast, go upstairs and shower, wash hair, get dressed, dry hair, put on chapstick and some under eyeliner, and sometimes slap himself in order to become fully awake. He did all that this morning, minus the slapping. He decided to wear a black button up top and jeans, with his white sneakers. I'll wear this cool bracelet too, It will make me look more handsome. He packed his study material and headed downstairs. He heard the doorbell.

He opened the door to Jaehyun, who wore a hoodie and sweats.

"Good morning," Taeyong said, locking the door as he was about to leave.

"How'd you sleep Hyung?" Jaehyun asked in a croaky voice.

"I slept well. Doesn't sound like you did."

"I woke up 20 minutes ago."

"Wow. I got a nice and early start. I feel great." Taeyong announced, beginning the trek to their destination, 2 blocks away.

Jaehyun responded with a yawn, and they set off.

They arrived.

Taeyong's jaw dropped. The house was one of the richest looking ones within a mile's radius. Small but super elegant. The yard was mowed, the rose garden maintained to perfection, clean slightly yellowish paint covering the exterior, big windows.

"Umm am I required to call you king while I'm here???" Was all Taeyong could say.

"I'll think about it." He replied, opening the door for him. Taeyong stepped inside. It didn't look that fancy once in it. It looked simple and messy.

"Please excuse the mess. The maid's out of the country to go to some baby shower, so she won't be back for a while."

"Huh," Taeyong said.

"Follow me." Jaehyun grabbed Taeyong's heavy-ass bag and led him to his room. He walked in and saw a small grey room, with a single bed, a lamp, some bags and miscellaneous stuff in the corner, but overall it looked tidy. The carpet looked like it got vacuumed regularly.

The only clean room in the house it seemed.

Jaehyun gently placed the bag on the floor, "Congratulations." He said to Taeyong, still admiring the room. His eyes shot back to him.

"What?" He inquired.

"You made it to my room. Many try, but most fail. Plus you got the bonus gift. You got *me* in my room too." Jaehyun smirked at himself.

Taeyong looked at the floor, feeling slightly flustered.

I guess someone's bedroom is quite a suggestive place.

"Ha! I'm kidding! Dude. You okay?" He grabbed Taeyong's forearm in an attempt to be reassuring, which he flicked away.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Do you want me to go through Bio with you?"

"Yes please." Taeyong sat on the bed, pulling his materials out, Jaehyun sat next to him, pulling up the homework he'd spend many hours desperately trying to complete.

"Okay so, this is the area I'm having trouble with."

"Oh, the difference between Mitosis and Meiosis? That's really simple-"

They spent an hour being scientific. Jaehyun felt pretty happy because he finally understood some concepts.

"Thanks, Taeyong. I'll leave you to your own studies now."

Jaehyun sat at his desk where he began working away on who knows what. Taeyong felt good about himself. He felt useful for once. He would happily help Jaehyun out whenever he needed.

Two hours of studying had passed. They needed a break.

"Taeyong do you want something to drink?"

"Yes," He responded, slamming his laptop shut.

"Come with me to the kitchen." He said. Taeyong followed him down the wooden creaky staircase. Taeyong took a seat on the stool at the breakfast bar.

"What would you like? I've got water, juice, iced coffee."

"What kind of juice?" Taeyong perked up.

"Pineapple."

"Can I please have some?" He asked politely.

"Sure." Jaehyun poured him a cup and passed it over. He grabbed a cup of hot water for himself.

Taeyong chugged the juice. It disappeared in 10 seconds, no exaggeration.

"Uh, do you want more?" Jaehyun asked.

"No it's okay, I don't wanna drink it all on you. I'll have some water please." Jaehyun walked over and sat next to Taeyong.

"Thank you for your help today. I think I'll actually pass the class now."

"No problem. Thanks for inviting me into your home. And for coffee the other day."

"Jaehyun patted Taeyong's hand reassuringly, then downed the rest of his water. His hand stayed there. Taeyong was very aware of his touch, not wanting to move or disrupt it.

"You look nice today." Taeyong blurted out. Jaehyun scoffed.

"Are you kidding? You dressed nicely and I rolled out of bed and threw on sweats. *You're* the one who looks nice." Jaehyun removed his hand.

I wish you'd put your hand back there.

Taeyong swivelled in his seat so that their legs brushed against each other. He felt this weird urge to be close to him.

"Can I call you Jae?" He asked.

"Of course. That's cute." Jaehyun paused to look at him.

"You're cute."

Tae went wide-eyed, then grabbed their glasses and took them to the sink in a panic.

"Umm Jaehyun, I think I should get going now. It's getting late."

"Oh. Okay. You wait here, I'll collect your stuff."

Jaehyun walked upstairs, leaving Taeyong standing over the sink, unsure why doing dishes was what he did at that moment. He watched as Jaehyun came back down.

"Here you go. Thank you again for your help. You're welcome to study with me anytime."

He handed Taeyong his bag.

"T-Thank you! See you around." Taeyong marched towards the door and let himself out. He basically ran home.

Taeyong laid on his bed, contemplating. His heart was still racing.

His hand. It felt so comforting. And he was so..sweet. Even let me have his juice.

He showered, hoping to wash away the possibility of catching the feels. He knew showers didn't have that power, but it didn't stop him from trying.

Chapter 6:

Sunday night rolled around. He'd spend an amazing day with his Mum. They went for a walk through the park and ate ice cream, just like when he was a kid. He never wanted those outings to end.

"But Mum why do you have to leave so soon? I've missed you a lot. I even made you cookies." He pulls out the container with a bow on top.

"Aw. Tae Tae." She pulls him in for a hug.

"I love you, okay? No matter where I am, don't hesitate to call or text me alright? If you need me, I'll find a way to respond." He held onto her tightly for a while longer, before letting her leave for her business ventures. She looked at the cookies.

"I can't take these with me on an aeroplane Tae. I'm sorry. Please eat them in my honour."

"Okay, Mum." She kissed him on the forehead, before walking out the door. He groaned in frustration and dumped the cookies on the counter. Tears started to well in his eyes. He grabbed the cookies and stormed up to his room. 3 cookies in, and he'd decided he'd had enough of the same shit. Feeling lonely and worthless. He knew he wasn't in the clearest mental state, but he decided to call Jaehyun.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hey, Jaehyun. I know it's late but, I was wondering if I could stay at your house? I'll bring you cookies."

"Uh, yeah of course. Do you want me to come to get you?"

"No it's okay, I'll be there soon. Thank you."

He hung up, grabbed a backpack and put in a change of clothes, toothbrush, phone charger, and some cookies. He left the house and walked as quickly as he could. He arrived at Jaehyun's house, knocking on the door in the freezing cold. It opened up and showed a confused boy in a tank top.

"Hi. Thank you for letting me come over. Here you go." He handed him the cookies.

"Chocolate chip?" He asked.

"Yeah. Long story." Taeyong stated.

"Come on in." Jaehyun held the door open for him.

"Am I interrupting something?" Taeyong gestured to him, covered in sweat.

"No, I was just working out." He replies, Tae looking him up and down.

"Oh." Those shorts are short.

He couldn't stop his eyes from looking through his sheer tank top.

"Um. Don't mind me. Do as you were. I'll just chill in the living room." Taeyong walked into said room, plonking down and grabbing his phone. Jaehyung walked past him and down the hall into the home gym he hadn't apparently noticed during his previous visit. Jaehyun didn't shut the door, so he heard the sounds of breathing and physical exertion.

Oh my God. He's grunting. He's really working hard...I feel like this isn't appropriate for my ears.

After 20 minutes he emerged, dripping in sweat.

"I'm gonna shower. Feel free to help yourself to anything in the kitchen."He said as he walked past.

Holy Jesus Lord, forgive me for the sights I've seen and sounds I've heard.

He walked into the kitchen, intending to steal some juice. He found none, so settled for some black tea with milk. He sat at the table browsing Pinterest. Jaehyun returned 15 minutes later.

"Black tea? At this hour? You know it's about 11 pm?" Jaehyun questioned.

"You're working out at this hour. I don't see the difference." Taeyong took a sip.

Jaehyun made his own cup of black tea, leaning on the counter opposite him.

"So. Did you like what you saw?" Jaehyun tried to maintain a serious facade.

Taeyong looked up. "I saw nothing out of the ordinary." The two maintained eye contact, Taeyong took another sip.

"I think you're a bad liar."

"I think I'm being perfectly truthful. And it's ‘Hyung’ to you."

Jaehyun walked over and leaned on the counter next to Taeyong.

"So you're saying if you saw my body again you wouldn't care in the slightest?"

"Would not phase me." Taeyong finished his tea, refusing to look up at him through his fringe. Jaehyun nodded.

"Alrighty then. Bedtime. Upstairs." Jaehyun snatched his phone away from him.

"Hey- give me that! I'm your Hyung, how could you take something that belongs to me??"

What is happening? This Jaehyun is so different from the one I met. Why is he being so...

"Because this is my house and I'm letting you stay here. Please go upstairs and get ready for bed." He said in a calm but authoritative tone.

Hot.

Taeyong gulped before going to grab his bag and get ready for bed.

"Good boy," Jaehyun muttered under his breath, sighing, not realizing Tae heard it at the bottom of the stairs.

My knees are gonna become jelly if he keeps talking like that.

Taeyong's face became a tomato at that moment when he realized.

I don't hate it.

“And what happens if I don’t?”

Jaehyun walked over and stood in front of Taeyong. He tugged the bottom of Taeyong’s shirt, his hand inches away from his soft skin as he dared to put his hand on him.

“Because if you don’t”, Jaehyun lowered his head towards Taeyong’s ear, “I’ll take these off for you.”

Taeyong put his pyjamas on and brushed his teeth faster than ever before. He jumped into Jaehyun's single bed, hoping it was the right decision. He sat up in bed, unsure of what to expect from the boy.

"Hey. Sorry, I took your phone. I shouldn't have treated you, a guest, in that way. I'm sorry. Here's your phone. I'll go to sleep on the couch."Jaehyun bowed to him apologetically as a confused and slightly horny Taeyong darted his eyes around the room.

"Jae, wait! You can sleep here. I don't mind sharing." He scooched over to make room.

"If you're okay with it." Jae smiled. He then jumped into bed next to him, turning off his lamp.

"I'm sorry I was an asshole." Jaehyun apologised and proceeded to give him a quick hug.

No.

"It's okay Jae. Sorry I was rude myself."

Please show that side of yourself again. Just don't take my freaking Pinterest away.

"Thanks for letting me stay over. I had a bad night with my Mum."

"Are you alright? Do you need to talk?" Jaehyun rolled over to look at him.

"No, it's okay. Thanks for just being there." They both lay, forced against each other due to the small space. Taeyong was extremely grateful the bed was smaller than Jae's patience. They fell asleep quickly. Taeyong enjoyed the warmth of another person.

They woke up late the next day. It was a Monday, but school holidays had begun, thank fuck.

Taeyong kept stiff as a board all night, trying not to move an inch and disturb the snoring giant in bed with him.

"Thanks for the cereal! I'm gonna go home and study." Taeyong grabbed his and Jae's bowl and brought them to the sink.

"Wanna come over again tonight, Tae?

"What?"

“Sorry. I meant “handsome”, Jaehyun winked, and Taeyong wanted to throw himself out the window.
