As he was sitting at his dining room table, swirling a glass of red wine, he
Slowed the swirling & softly breathed in the delicious smell
Tasting with his nose, all that he hoped the wine would be, just superb
He looked at his friend, he said it’s smooth, full, I can smell the different flavours , I can clearly notice the difference in the bouquets, from the one we just had
This was one of the reasons the 2 were such great friends, they could discuss every topic, in a way that others would not comprehend
These two men were smarter then most, when they got together, they pushed each other to have ingenious ideas, some that came flowing some were down right preposterous
These two men could talk for hours, the banter they enjoyed always quick to flow, both were in a league of their own, always taking their work a step further
This friendship, it was clear to see, was about more then just a chat, the clear respect & understanding they showed each other, was a sign of a true Gentleman
As he raised his glass to his friend, he came back to himself, confused at first, he was sure he was just at his friends table

Then he remembered, ah yes, his friend had passed, a loss of a great mind, for him, it was the loss of an understanding soul, one who made sure he knew he was there when needed, this would hurt for some time
He took comfort in the thought that he knew how much his friend had appreciated & valued their friendship.
