We enter the ether world by first being alone with God. Feeling calm and comfortable by being in his presence. Not knowing if we are here or there, but as we move with the mist, we realize we are a figment of air and space and eventually form. We dance and lift our hearts to the one who made us. We are free.
Do not think you are alone in this place, we are many. We may not have seen the blending of two becoming one, but it is in fact a reality. Our lives are created by the creator, as we are made in his image. It is a beautiful love story, and one for the ages. Who can enter the joy of knowing you are known, fully known by a living God? A few, a few more, and the few who walk the narrow path to truth.
Can you see this place? Do you know it’s real, in the past and for the future? We have to visit the ether land in times of remembering and reflection. Some call it prayer, or rumination on truth, some call it reflection into your true self. Who are we, really?
God is at our core. You know that you may deny it, but you know it. He is all you are looking for and yes a few have found him. Or is it he, who finds us?
When we were on the desert floor as dust in the vapor, he found us and picked us up to be held closely in his loving arms. Just as a loving potter would gather the best clay for a beautiful beginning to a piece of pottery. Pottery made of porcelain is the most delicate pottery and hardest to master. Yet He is Master Potter, master overall.
His spirit washes over us as we are gathered in his arms. This is the ether world, a dimension of life that can’t be seen until it is revealed to us and lived in the mist and absense of time.
What brings us to that place, a timeless abandonment to self, yet being fully alive? Letting go, a place where time and matter are not real. When you let go and allow the process of being transformed to overtake you, and re-create you, this time puts all other time into perspective.
Many I know have come to this place and have faced the mist of void, a time without beginning or end, but having found peace. Peace in abandon. Peace in the void. Others will live and die not knowing that grace and truth are available for each life event.
As we have read and seen, some enter this place and return to the life of the living, others do not.
What happens after we die?
Where do we go?
Can we return?
What will others see, if we pass away?
Do we really return back to the dirt, to be one with God in his creation?
These questions have answers, the answers in our life often come to surprise us and yet gather us to the steps of the ether world.
Who would you ask to find the best answers to these questions?
Man, forest, wind, rain, creation, the universe? You could, but the answers would not be solid. They too would be like a mist. Unformed substances.
Who can say what happens to us as we enter another realm? Only the one who has a place higher and more majestic than any other.
We can’t know the future, any more than we could have predicted the past. Who would have known the trials and hardships and joys you would have in your life? Yet you endured, you adjusted, it's how we mature and change and grow.
If a mist or vapor can be felt, yet not seen, how much more a Creative being who is real, but in the ethereal space. Each day we take in air and breathe for our living. Where did that air come from?
Take away one element, ‘air’ and you will find that you really only need that one thing to live. God is that one thing in the vapor of time, who made the way to live easier with His presence.
Living can be lived or it can be ‘survived.’ What have we been doing? Living or surviving?
Daily, what do you do? Struggle or overcome? In this thing we call life, I have done both. I have been in a time when I felt invisible, unworthy, berated, hated, condemned, dehumanized, ugly, different, and questioned my reason for living.
I realize not everyone has this as their life, some are happy, fulfilled, progressing, learning, and loved.
To the people in the mist, I understand. You are here, but feel alone or invisible. I too have felt alone and invisible. I did find someone who knew me all along, but it was only after I had lost my reason to live. I was spared, and over the next few years, I was given a bigger reason to live. After I had lost my life, I found a new one.
We all are in need of a reason, a reason beyond ourselves. When doing things well, or right is not enough, we look higher and longer. We all know someone who seemingly does nothing with their life and we can see empty living.
What we can not always see in ourselves is what we need to do, to live well. Being alive is not living, any more than a mist alone can turn into a rainbow. But it has the potential to be more.
With the right form of light or foundation, we can find life in the mist. Just like a rainbow is created out of sunlight and mist, we all have the potential to be colorful, bright, needed. Maybe we can’t see it today, but rainbows don’t happen daily, just when the elements of light and mist blossom into hope.
Rainbows are a sign, just as a new moon or a chrysalis are silent signs of hope, change, and renewal.
Renewal is possible, we can be renewed. I am assured of this, and you are too. Promises that can not be broken and forgotten are the truest promises, and when you stand on a promise it creates a new foundation.
Old or new, the promises are true. Seek with no compromise and see life in the sword.
