Disney Plus Review-2022

Well, it stands to reason that Disney Plus would be the happiest streaming service. And for the most part, it is. This is our childhood bundled up for comfort-watching.

Disney Plus is becoming one of the most subscribed streaming platforms of all time. In fact, it has managed to attract 28.6 million subscribers at a fast rate, far surpassing competitors like HBO and Hulu.

Launched in November 2019, Disney Plus delivers some of the best Disney movies and series of all time. From nostalgic originals like Snow White and the Seven Dwarves to modern classics such as The Mandalorian, Soul, and Frozen, it has more to offer than just Disney, too.

Moreover, Disney Plus offers an exhaustive library full of your favorite shows and movies like Star Wars, Marvel, National Geographic, and Pixar movies and series — programming that you simply can’t find anywhere else. If you’re a non-cable streamer, you’re in luck. Disney Plus is a direct-to-consumer streaming service, which you can download straight to your device with an app – there’s no cable required.

Anyway, let’s cut the cord and start streaming without any further ado!

Disney Plus Features

The Walt Disney streaming service has three great reasons you should consider a monthly subscription.

1. A vast library of on-demand Disney films

While everything Disney has ever made is not featured on Disney plus, a lot of it is. If you're looking for your favorite animated films, you'll likely find them on the streaming service. These include classics such as

• Fantasia

• The Princess and the Frog

• Mulan

• Jungle Book

• Sleeping Beauty

• The Little Mermaid

• Lion King

• Beauty and the Beast

• Aladdin.

For years Disney would only release these movies to be sold periodically. For many viewers, the ability to watch such wholesome family entertainment whenever you want is worth the monthly price all by itself.

2. Comes with Marvel Studios, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and National Geographic titles

Are you a Marvel Cinematic Universe fan? A Disney Plus subscription gives you access to nearly every Marvel movie made, which means every Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America movie comes with a Disney Plus membership.

Also, Disney Plus has been adding Marvel TV shows to its lineup. Shows like WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and What If are all adding and expanding the MCU.

Love the Star Wars franchise? Then you'll have access to all nine of the Star Wars Skywalker Saga films and Solo and Rogue One. Then there are the TV shows to consider, which are also on the Disney streaming service, including

• Star Wars: The Bad Batch

• Star Wars Rebels

• Star Wars Resistance

• Star Wars: Visions

• The Mandalorian

But there are also a host of other Star Wars shows, including The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and the Obi-Wan Kenobi series — which takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.

In fact, both Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen reprised their roles as Kenobi and Darth Vader, respectively.

Meanwhile, there are National Geographic and Pixar to consider. National Geographic has a plethora of documentaries and TV shows on Disney Plus, including The World According to Jeff Goldblum, Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted, and The Incredible Dr. Pol.

Likewise, Pixar brings its collection of great titles, like Turning Red, Onward, Luca, Toy Story, The Incredibles, and more.

3. Includes many 20th Century Fox movies and TV shows

Aren’t we all fans of the home alone series?

Movies like Home Alone, Avatar, The Sandlot, Ice Age, and The Sound of Music can now all be streamed on Disney Plus. Though they're not officially MCU titles, you can also watch all of the X-Men movies that Fox made over the years, including X-Men, X2: X-Men United, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and more.

However, perhaps the best part of this merger is that you can now stream every episode of The Simpsons on Disney Plus. This means you can watch more than 600 available episodes.

Conclusion: Is Disney Plus Worth it?

Disney Plus not only helps us relive our childhood memories but also entertains us with the latest and most-watched content. The Disney Plus streaming service is well worth its price, esp. if you are a fan of classic Disney and Pixar movies. But if you are also a fan of Marvel and Star Wars movies, then the choice is crystal clear!
