Deceitful Appearances
People are not always who they appear to be.

I have always sat back and wondered about those people on TV who advertise products that can heal you, bring you money and other types of blessings. From the jump, I knew it was a bunch of mess because there is no way somebody can sell you something to cure you of being crippled or bless you with a lot of money.
I was watching a TV show the other night and all I kept hearing people say was that they bought the purchased product, and it brought them financial blessings. I knew it was a lie because of the dollar amounts. If a miracle product can generate money, people wouldn’t have so much financial difficulties.
I read an article that told me the truth about a televangelist that was doing this. I wont say his name for privacy reasons. His wife had a list of names of the people with illnesses and financial problems that she wrote down in advance so that he would know who to target on the show. In other words, it was all for show.
This man made God knows how much money off innocent people. Its sad because he collected money from these innocent people just for the sake of financial profit. Why do I bring all this up you wonder? I will tell you.
Televangelists have a habit of making you believe that they can cure you of your ailments and fix your problems. This is a false statement. If that’s the case, we would all be rich and healthy as a horse. Its sad that people believe this stuff will fix all their problems because it wont.
I think it should be against the law for a person to advertise things like this. I’m sorry if someone gets offended by this but it’s the truth. The people on tv that sell these products do it for financial gain. There is a catch to everything in life so believe you me, the people that got those financial blessings probably had to do something else in behind it; we just see what was on tv.
Things like that make me upset because people go to great lengths for the sake of a dollar these days. This is something we all know but I wanted to bring it to light anyway. Don’t put your hope and trust in A MAN. Put your trust in THE MAN, referring to the man above.
It’s a good thing that they don’t allow people the opportunity to be in the audience on these shows when testimonies are being made out because I would be the first one to yell out, prove it. That person will automatically get offended but I don’t care.
I notice that the only thing people in the audience do is clap their hands and be happy. I couldn’t be one of the people to sit there and watch. I would have to walk out because I know its fake. It’s a shame and disgrace to see someone try to make people believe that they can perform the miracles that the Lord has done.
Needless to say that the show has come to end but you know that the show must go on. Someone else has come along claiming the same thing, only they haven’t made any commercials. I always notice that they want you to send in money. Suppose I do send in the money for a promised product. It doesn’t work. Then I’m out of whatever I sent and its non-refundable. What was the point? I'm ending my story on this note: Don’t let yourself be fooled by everything you see. The real truth is crystal clear but you have to look hard enough and think.
