What is oxygen?

Diatomic oxygen gas constitutes 20.8% of the Earth's atmosphere. As compounds including oxides, the element makes up almost half of the Earth's crust.

Oxygen is essential for the survival of all known organisms. In animals, including humans, oxygen is necessary for the production of ATP, a molecule that provides the energy needed for many physiological processes. In plants, oxygen is produced as a byproduct of photosynthesis.

How to important is oxygen for human survival

CAN YOU LIVE WITHOUT OXYGEN?
