Brad and Angelina Jolie Divorce Mediation

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reached a divorce settlement that included a large "permanent" trust that could make them worth $8 and 11 million if they each contributed a portion of assets, which would end the couple's 12-year separation. Here's what happened. In 2005, after their second divorce, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split up after 12 years. One side split assets, with Jolie getting half and Pitt receiving the other one-third. The former couple agreed to a permanent trust to end the division and the former couple settled on the asset allocation of the permanent trust, which would make the couple worth $8 million and $11 million, respectively, if each contributed a certain percentage of their assets.

The final version of the agreement provided that Pitt would receive 30% of Jolie's assets, with the remainder split between Jolie's half and Pitt's.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's Divorce - Custody Dispute

Settled Over Hollywood Hills Property. Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston filed for divorce from her husband Brad Pitt on November 27, 2004. The couple, who were together for nine years, signed an agreement in September 2000 that granted all four of them joint legal custody of the couple's three children, ages three, five and seven, and granted Pitt legal access in his other two children, aged six and 11, as well as in Jolie's two children, aged five and six.

The agreement ended their years of legal marriage, which was finalized in May of 2000. However, a new agreement was reached in January 2001, which allowed Pitt to have physical custody of her two children, while Jennifer was allotted some limited parenting time, as well as a monthly allowance of $2,000 for herself. Jennifer was also allowed to continue to own the celebrity couple's Hollywood Hills mansion and a home in Nashville.

The divorce was filed on November 27, 2004, and the final order were made on January 30, 2005.

According to the court document, the following incidents occurred:

On July 16, 2000, on the phone from his residence to Jolie's residence, Brad Pitt yelled that "his kids are dead" and "we are in a civil war."

Later that day, Jolie filed for quick divorce online; the couple had been married for only nine years! Jolie was now the mother of two children, whereas he had been the father of three.

During the proceeding, Jolie stated that Brad had told her she was "lucky to have his money," even though they had been living an affluent lifestyle during their marriage. According to Jolie, he told this to her on the telephone during a visit to a local salon for a hair-dyeing treatment.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Are Still Legally Married

Brad and Angelina's Divorce: Custody Dispute Settled Over California Property. Jolie filed for divorce on September 15, 2001, alleging domestic violence, accusing Brad of violating a restraining order and of not protecting his children after an incident in July of 2000. The suit also accused him of not sharing custody of her children.

With the divorce filing coming shortly after his divorce from Angelina, Brad's former wife became even more paranoid and started taking drastic measures.

Jolie and Pitt initially agreed to keep their divorce proceedings as private as possible to protect their kids, but the custody negotiations got ugly in 2018. Jolie has maintained primary physical custody of the kids since she and Pitt separated, with Pitt having supervised visitation. In June 2018, The Blast reported that a judge ordered Jolie to allow their children to speak and text with Pitt without her monitoring the conversations, warning her that alienating their six kids from Pitt wasn't helping her case.
