I know how it feels like being misfit, when all around you there's a crowd full of the people you know, but still something makes you feel like a stranger.

What makes you misfit ? , Your identity, your appearance, your clothes or where you're from, actually not. When we stand among a group of different people in religion, origin, looks and so on, we share something common, maybe an idea, a thought or whatever. We misfits where our thoughts don't fit. I don't know why it is not nice to be misfit. We can't fit in all things, so why are we supposed to fit in all things?

There are places you go and get to know yourselves, especially the first place we go is school. In school we were taught to fit in the box or mould that is made by them. But everyone makes their own mould, which fits them perfectly. We all have different potential and capacities and, accordingly, we choose our path. We can't force the decisions and choices on others, they are self made.

Being misfit, is something people view as a drawback but it has its own powers. Most of the greatest people were misfit at first but now they have their own place.

Each of us has been told to fit in the box, but it is hard to fit in anything that is not made for you or it does not belong to you. Normally, in the race for adjustment in mould, we force ourselves to do things, but it ends with a depression or makes us feel like a failure.

Stop burdening yourself with some other's thoughts.

Even at home, at school or on the job, create your own place, try to discover yourself in the crowd. There is always something that makes you different from others and if we try, we can find the good in all. .

The feeling of being left out is terrible, but it can't always be our fault. The rejections and failures cause you to find flaws in own. But sometimes there is a flaw in the person in front of you who didn't realize your worth. There are great personalities who have been rejected so many times but they had self belief and they never gave up. Find your value first and proudly accept yourself and eventually you find your place. Whether it is about choice and comfort, make your priorities wisely. One should not let go of oneself by someone else's flow.

Getting yourself fit in the group sometimes enhance you but sometimes spoils you too. So, it's important to think about it, when you need to change yourself or when not.

Introverts can be more related to misfits. Introverts explore the places which hold their interest and avoid the one out of their interest. But it's not like that they misfit everywhere. It is about choice which makes us different from each other. Most of the time, it becomes too difficult for a person to explain why he/she misfits the particular group.

We assume that misfits are weird or stupid and so deviant from the rest of us that they can’t properly connect with others, the frustrating experience of feeling, uncomfortably out of place is depressing. Sometimes, bullying or teasing make the situation more uncomfortable and more misfit. We all have been misfit somewhere, it's impossible to fit everywhere in every situation.

It's nothing wrong about being misfit.

After a certain time, introverts or unsocial people find their purpose and value. They knew of their place and misfit is no longer a big issue or a problem. And when that happens, it will no longer concern them who, or how many, people want to befriend them.
