Behind-the-Scenes Drama That Almost Ruined My Show - Kiekie
Kiekie opens up

Nigerian actress, content creator, and producer Kiekie is currently promoting her new show Kiekie Unscripted Experience and during an appearance on eSplash, Kiekie opened up about the big hurdle the show ran into and explains how it had to be resolved.
The revelation came when the interviewer asked Kiekie saying:
INTERVIEWER: A lot of people would be looking at you and saying, 'Ah, Kiekie, she's always having things going her way.' But we know that this is life, and there are times that things do not go your way, and you're down. So how do you come back up at that point? Because you have a lot of things going for you, and then maybe one doesn't work, but you have to continue because you want that one to stand back up. How do you go on?
To which Kiekie responded:
KIEKIE: You know, the perfect example in this situation is going to be the 'Kiekie Unscripted Experience' itself. So, we had shot the show. Oh my God, it's a great show! Let's go, guys, let's go and show it to the world. We've done something great! And then we realized a few things were missing on the show, and we had to reshoot.
So, you see all those celebrities on the show? I had to bring them back. Almost all the contestants on the show, at least I would tell you about 80% of the contestants on the show, I had to bring them back all over again. So, it was a lot of mental work, a lot of mental stress, a lot of dedication and focus to say, 'This is what I want, this is how I want it to look, and it must look like that.' And that takes a certain level of confidence and self-worth, understanding that there's no need to rush.
It is better for you to do what you need to do the best way that you want to do it, and as long as you are doing something for the right reasons, you will always get the right results. So, one of my own basic philosophies in life is, if it's worth doing at all, then you have to do it well. So, it's not usually a very easy bump or easy ride or easy flying, easy jumping.
It would happen, but you will sit down, you're hurt, of course, you're pained, we're humans. You restrategize and say, 'You know what, Kiekie, this is what I want. I am where I am today because I do it well. So if I'm putting it out and it is not well done, ah-ah, no matter if yam is your best food, if they didn't cook it well, will you eat it? Abi, if rice is your best food and they didn't cook it well, will you just go and take raw rice and be eating it? No, it still has to be well done.
