Am I Mistaken, or Did I Just Hear 'The Fat Lady' Soprano Sing?

Are The Good Times, and The Opera Really Over?

"It ain't over till (or until) the fat lady sings" is a well-known cliché, usually written to mean that no-one should presume to know the outcome of an event which is still in progress.

Are we really heading into a recession?

All the signs look like we are, and the media are keen to spread doom and gloom ...  The cost-of-living crisis - War in Ukraine - The Pandemic and the never-ending New Strains of the Virus - The environment and Global Warming - Crypto and the Property market crash…

…and yet, every year, on December 21, the winter solstice takes place, nowhere is it more prominent than at Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire. The ancient druids celebrated the 'reawakening' of the earth with the 'death' and 'rebirth' of the sun, which sets behind to the south-west of the stone circle. This year, the Solstic will begin on December 22, the sunrise will be live streamed on the official English Heritage YouTube channel (Information from English Heritage)

It's a time for deep reflection, when we ask ourselves, or we should be asking ourselves: "What are we doing? Where are we going? What do we want to do differently in the next year?" One of the things to do differently will be changing the dynamics of war, but it will be a longer process than wished for, unless new rules and laws are created. I am praying this year that a new world order will at least commence.

Nuclear Fusion

Last week it was announced that Scientists have, for the first time, produced more energy in a fusion reaction that was used to ignite it. Heralded as a major breakthrough in the decades long search to harness the process that powers the Sun, and unlike other nuclear reactions, it doesn't create radioactive waste. - (Matthew Daly, Michael Phillis, Jennifer McDermott, and Maddie Burakoff, "Fusion Breakthrough Could be Game Changer," Associated Press, December 14, 2022)

Dare we imagine that the world now has an opportunity to commence a renaissance, a revolution in communications that propels humanity into a bright new future?

Is it the crossing point between humanity's reliance on fossil fuels and the emergence of new applications of alternative energies that will benefit the environment and the whole of humankind in a myriad of new ways we can only begin to imagine today.

Is it possible that Mankind is on a verge of finding solutions and breaking the cycle of war and destruction versus innovation, discovery, and extraterrestrial creativity through awareness of the urgent need for this breakthrough?

Recessions of the Past

The 'Great Depression' of the 1930s, started with the Wall Street Crash on 24 October 1929 when investors sold millions of 'overpriced' shares … A record 12.9 million shares were traded that day, known as "Black Thursday."

The events of October 1929 propelled the Industrialized world into the longest, deepest, and most widespread depression of the 20th century.

Millions of people lost their jobs, homes and livelihoods becoming homeless and hungry - it was an era that has never been forgotten and serves as a reminder to us all.

The depravations of that era were clearly fundamental in paving the way for the First World War.

I love astrology, and one of the events in World History has always fascinated me: 'why did a generation so willingly go to War in 1914?'

It is widely believed that the conjunction of Neptune and Pluto in the constellation of Taurus (1891-92) was the beginning of economic revolution. The social upheaval in Europe that followed paved the way for World War I.

Normally conflicts require a flashpoint, and in 1914 Pluto was at 0 degrees Cancer - with Saturn conjunct the same point at the end of July 1914. The culmination of all the tensions at the peak of the Zodiac caused the explosion into war (Pluto).

Saturn in Cancer can also awaken a Nationalistic fever where the population seek to defend the 'Mother Country' as Cancer rules 'Motherhood' among other things.

Kaiser Wilhelm II was Queen Victoria’s most contentious grandchild. He was the volatile ruler of the German empire.

As he veered closer and closer to war, his mother Vicky “was driven almost to treason in her letters to her British mother, so alarmed was she by the actions of her son. ‘I think with fright and horror of the future’ she confided to her mother in 1897. ‘It makes one mad to think of all the misery that may yet come.’” https://astrologyresearch.co.uk/causes-of-the-1st-world-war-saturn-and-pluto

As any historian knows the results were tragic for an entire generation, where cousin could betray cousin, a husband set against his wife and even sister against sister.

MEGHAN AND HARRY

The World is seeing a similar scene where two Royal Brothers have been set against each other, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex against Prince William and Princess Catherine.

All this fueled by the Media and the never-ending quest for a good story. I really don't care who's right and who's wrong, the population is still recovering from a Pandemic (perhaps the two of them could have a penalty shoot-out- and raise some money for charity) - now there's a thought!

Thank you for reading to...The End
