About my brother

My dad and mom came back from the hospital this afternoon with a few sheets of paper in their hands, the corners of their mouths turned upward all the time and the fine lines at the corners of their eyes filled with happiness. They told me that mom was more than a month pregnant and that I was going to have a brother or sister. They must not have been able to see how happy I was, because at the time I just smiled and didn't say anything.

I've always wanted a little brother and have wanted one for a long time.

Occasionally, when my parents weren't home, I looked at the empty room and didn't know what to do, feeling so alone, with no one around to talk to. What a loving picture of those children with siblings, all able to fight and love each other at home.

Today is a day to remember because now I'm not alone anymore.

Mom's second month of pregnancy was very reactive, she vomited as much as she ate, she lost weight, her face was always pale and she couldn't eat.

If the baby doesn't behave in the future, I will teach him a lesson.

Two months to go, and the due date is coming up. Mom's belly is now so big that I can still feel the fetal movements, and she says the baby moves extra hard whenever I get close.

I'm especially excited and happy to think that I'll see my baby soon. When the time comes, the house is going to be bustling with activity.

Yesterday, the baby came into the world.

When the class teacher told me the news today, I don't know what I became so excited about, I would just lie on my desk and giggle, laughing until the tears almost fell at the end.

I guess this is what happiness looks like.

This feeling is wonderful as if a person in the world for more than ten years of ambiguous fumbling, suddenly there is a and my blood extremely close to the little person appeared next to me, holding my hand and said: sister, the future of the road we go together.

I once thought I might just end up alone until I discovered your existence, I began to feel that blood is the most wonderful thing in the world.

We are like standing on either side of a one-way bridge, in the first fifteen years of my life, I could not find your shadow. Last September, I found you standing on the opposite side, and the blank space in my life for fifteen years began to be filled by you.

Fortunately, yesterday you managed to walk across the one-way bridge to my side.

Today was my monthly vacation, and the first thing I did when I got home was to go into my room and find my brother to play with him. As soon as he saw me, he broke into a big smile, with little dimples swirling on his face, and I didn't know how cute he was.

My brother can already roll over on his own, and every time I turn him over, he tirelessly rolls over to lie on his back. Mom jokes that he is showing me that he wants me to praise him.

Playing with my brother and mom in bed at night, my brother kept smiling at me and babbling something. Mom said in a jealous tone, "How come the baby is so close to you and talks to you so much, he didn't even talk to us like that when you lived at school. I just smiled smugly and didn't speak.

He's my brother, how can he have a bad relationship with me?
