A TABLE 2 BE SEATED

The doors open to the privileged. The voices that were once in conversations has become silent. The host seem to ignore me, but I am not truly invisible. I know I am not. I can clearly see I am in view of their eyes. I am waiting to be seated. I know there is a place for me. I do see an empty table. I know I belong. I feel that I belong right here. Right now, still awaiting to be seated. The host has gone to help others, still I see an empty table. The host is now coming towards me. I am feeling excited. I am going to be seated. I stand up with a smile on my face waiting to follow the host back to that empty table to be seated. It seems like I wasn’t the reason for the smile. It was a couple behind me. The host tells them their reservations is ready. Still, I see an empty table, waiting to be seated. Waiting to breathe, life in its patience that I wasn’t invisible at all. I was showing resiliency waiting for this day. It had shown me in the face of what use to be fear. Is courage. Change is not something different. Change is doing something difficult. It is not how long would I wait for that empty table but how long would I wait to have that unconfutable conversation at the table, waiting to be seated.

It is in the shadow’s thoughts in the injustices and within the human heart. We build character, that don’t bend in the words of hate, but stands up in words that heals the past and the future. It amends freedom fences of hope surrounding forgiveness, peace, and compassion. It is the touchstones of our moments to change and to advocate. That mirrors the greatest universe in our humanity to love each other. This is our walk now. Where we will leave our footprints to continue a legacy to pave the roads to greater communities, nation, and the world. Our future depends on its survival to love unconditionally. We are presented with the gift of life & resolve, to build and shape the pillars of lifecycles. That is deeply rooted in dialogue to effectively listening to each other. This is not a goal but an expectation reflecting on what we can achieve together. That is the invitation to discover his or her own truths. While discovering ourselves & country.

History will equal The Future.

Making Connection will equal The Hope.

Healing will equal The Resiliency.

Taking Action will equal The Motivation.

That is us. All of us who will come to the table to be seated in fellowship. In a common place to sit and reconcile, to transformation, and to become the echoed voices of loves equality. When we sit at the table in conversations.

Sometimes we don’t have to wait on the host. Sometimes it’s the table that will wait on us. I will never forget our words and thoughts host. I have learned so much from you, more than words can explain but I know how to fight the good fight. I know what it means to be strong and wise. I know what it means to cry for others and be bold and yes radical. I know what it is to get into good trouble. Those are the conversation that matter. When we stand for what is right. When we stand up for the purpose, we live for, until we sit at the table again my friend…
