A Physical Exam Prank

I was working at a small manufacturing company that had several different departments. So many good workers at the plant allowed the company to meet its goals. With everyone working so hard, we all needed to have fun occasionally. One of my favorite pranks used on new employees most of the time was the incomplete job physical phone exam. This mock exam was an exam that we did using the company's internal phone system. Once, a new employee passed his physical and worked for a few months as an employee of the company. We would choose him as our victim of the physical phone exam.

Now that we have our victim. We will let everyone know what will happen in the victim's department so that no one gives it away. We picked Carlos to play the part of the clinic doctor. In this particular case, he will ask the victim, Larry, the questions needed for the exam. So Carlos will hide in a department next to where Larry works but can still see Larry from where he is calling from.

Everything is ready to go, and everyone is in their place to make the call. Carlos will call Larry's department and ask for Larry. When Larry comes to the phone, Carlos will say, "Hi Larry, this is Doctor Vincent from the clinic where you came to take your physical for your employer." "There were some tests that were not completed properly at the clinic but don't worry. We can complete them over the phone." Larry says, "ok," Doctor Vincent says, "Larry, can you run in place and place the phone to your heart so we can get your heart rate" Larry starts running in place and puts the phone to his heart. Everyone wants to start laughing but hold it in. Doctor Vincent says, "Larry, we couldn't get a good reading. Can you repeat that?" Larry starts running in place again. Doctor Vincent says, "Nice, Larry, we got it this time." Larry looks around, a little embarrassed but stays on the phone.

"Now let us move on to the next test, Larry," says Doctor Vincent. "Larry, place the speaking part of the phone on your wrist for sixty seconds so I can hear your pulse." Larry follows the instructions for the full sixty seconds, "you have a good strong pulse," says Doctor Vincent. "Let's check your lungs now. Please cough into the phone a few times" Larry starts coughing into the phone, and it is getting harder for everyone from starting to laugh. Doctor Vincent tells Larry, "This is the last test. We will test your endurance and stamina. What I need you to do is to start hopping in place." Larry starts hopping in place. Carlos, Doctor Vincent, can see Larry hopping from the other department. Larry is not hopping very high, so he tells Larry, "I need you to hop higher." Larry starts hopping very high now, and that's when everyone starts laughing. Larry turns beet red from embarrassment, knowing now that he was pranked. And everyone is mocking him by hopping, making Larry angry, but Larry knows he should have never fallen for that.

We did this to many new employees, and some were smart enough to decline the exam. Some were so funny that you wanted to pee your pants from laughter. I still laugh to this day, thinking about what those employees did on the phone with the fake doctor.
