A Letter To 2021

Subject: Getting to know more.

Hello 2021,

How are you?

(Kinda) Glad to meet you.

Just met your cousin aka '2020' and frankly speaking, he was horrible and was more worse than what we expected. What am I talking about?! Well, I know you just arrived but you should have seen the news, the articles, the blogs and I am pretty sure you would have gone crazy after seeing all that and you probably would have understood what am I talking about.

Make sure to read till the end to know better.

Well truly a lot happened...I don't really wanna talk about it but, thanks to him we got to spend a really long time indoors, inside our houses and by a really long time, I mean a really long time.

Well I might have told you how bad 2020 was own his own but he did something worse...

Guess what?

He invited his friend over as well...Why?!

I don't know. Together with all of his friends he truly made a mess. Amongst all of his friends there was this one who was called 'The Pandemic' and he was the worst, it was because of him we had to stay indoors all the time, couldn't meet our friends or anyone else and now when I look onto those times when we used to meet others or used to walk outside our houses without wearing a mask or having to carry a hand sanitiser every single place you go, I feel so different.

But the sad part is, we lost a lot of people but we also had a whole bunch of amazing individuals and teams who worked day and night to take care of all the people around the world especially those who worked in the medical field all the nurses, doctors and everyone else.

Huge respect to all those people. You people are Amazing.

You know what?

I could keep talking about how bad 2020 was for hours. maybe days. I don't know. But I think its time we get to know more about you...

Well first of all, everyone here now looks upto you, we are hoping against hope that you will be different from your cousin aka '2020'...Who knows? We are still getting to know you...

Well we usually would never read the terms and conditions before opting in for anything but 2020, he never had any of those features so it feels as if he just barged in with his friends and speaking of terms and conditions, I read a tweet a few days ago, and don't think you have it on you but if you do, we really want to read your terms and conditions before you come in and...

Please, this time no uninvited friends over.

You want to know if anything good happened in 2020...

Well we played a lot of Among Us...I don't know if that is relevant here.

Okay. Hold Up, let me just Google that.

Well just as expected. It showed up like this 'error 404, nothing good found'.

Just kidding.

Actually just like the saying 'there are two sides to a coin', there isn't much but it seems there was actually something good that happened and if you are really that keen to know what happened, Google it yourself, I am not going to sit down and type in all that.

Anyways, with all that being said we hope and believe that you will be an amazing, fantastic and a year of great joy to everyone.
