A Call -> Action

Getting Motion On The Line

By Ad-Libbing With The Z-ManPublished 5 years ago 3 min read

This is less a story and more an update on my own personal story.

I am finally at a crossroads once again. At least, I now have the opportunity to create one through deliberation and action and choose my next direction more intelligently and considerately.

Of course, is anything ever that easy?

Regardless of all of the opportunities that each of us is granted in life, why is it that so few of us--really, none outside of legend or the unique circumstance of association--ever get into the effort of usurping them to their palpable limits?

I am still at a loss for resolution. Sure, I can share things from a mental point of view--can spend an entire day elaborating on a specific point, or fuelling a stalwart succession of them--but that is only conscious operation after all. The mind gives peace of itself, but were does universal integrity stand? After all, isn't it the amalgamation of spirit and home that makes it?

More often than not I take the easy way out of things. There is, I think, some invisible threading that I have yet to find the means to break. I would suggest that it is so fragile that it would easily be severed, having been found, but in doing so...

I'll approach it from a different perspective, perhaps, as I try to find the way to introduce the next point of concept. Essentially, what I was going to say in layman's terms, regardless of excess length and an assault of staggered footsteps, is that the issue is so weak that, knowing its even simple extent, it could easily be broken, unleashing the burden its constriction has exhibited on its more powerful captive.

That like Achilles' heel, the weakness is so invisible to the untrained eye, yet so naked to the educated one.

That with sight, the concept of even vulnerability is forfeit.

So, the dilemma is, quite simply: how do we be?

The solution, at a level removed some distance from the core, is the concept of personal power, as suggested by Tony Robbins. However, what still keeps to the shadows is the catalyst at the root of it all.

Sure, you can move yourself into the proximity of the answer--even march forward undainted by the reins of some realized concept of sustained longevity--but you'll never truly own the process.

Except, a ballpark understanding should always be enough, shouldn't it? After all, our time on this Earth is limited, anyway. At least, as far as the reach of consciousness--of compiled learning--is concerned. It is better to feel around to operate than to strive to understand the soul of a concept before execution.

But that comes down to other qualities of self. In my case, I enjoy breaking things down, building new concepts from the rubble, etc. I can, with outweighing confidence, say that it is in my nature to do so. It is one of many things that brings me joy in life, so is there really any hope I could ever see the truth and fully accept it into my heart?

Is it not better to operate in a grey area that, by distancing yourself from it appropriately, you can jive with its fruits for your own gain and yet remain of complete and untainted integrity?

That will give you something to think about for a while!

As for me, I'm going to try to get some things done today. The stuff that I love to do, be it in laziness or in the building of my ideal future, and the stuff that I don't love to do,...be it in laziness or the building of my ideal future.

I won't lie. I likely won't get much of what other's think is important done. Even for my own end. I don't believe in satisfying the needs of others if I am but a puppet by their hand otherwise.

Whether by a shift in perception or an eventual disassociation, I will find my own way to operate in the ballpark of life. Above all else, my one guarantee--for better and for worse--is time.
